For driver safety, the CarVi app offers the LDW (Lane Departure Warning) and FCW (Forward Collision Warning) features and allows the driver to save trip data periodically and check the driving route for road hazards. LDW (Lane Departure Warning): This feature alerts the driver if the vehicle leaves the lane without use of the lane change indicator, in order to prevent a potential accident. FCW (Forward Collision Warning) This feature also assists the driver in preventing accidents by warning of an impending collision when the distance to the vehicle ahead is dangerously close. Safe Driver Assistance “Start” Use your mobile’s hot spot feature to connect with the CarVi app. Press “Start” and begin driving. The app receives video data in real time. The received video data is analyzed using ADAS algorithms, warning the driver of lane changes or collision hazards. It also creates reports on road hazards and sudden departures, starts and stops, enhancing driver safety. Limitations Due to the nature of Wi-Fi, connection may not work properly in or near urban areas where there are numerous Wi-Fi signals. If you do not turn on the “Location” service, you cannot use the “Start” feature. Service may not be available in tunnels or areas where a GPS connection is not available.
