Description of Eeto Calendar

Eeto is a linear calendar that uses colored milestones to help you easily visualize your events on a timeline. Think of milestones as a short or long term goal, a company deadline, a product release, an anniversary, your prom night, or a wedding. Milestone events are big in importance, but small in scale. Using Eeto’s linear timeline design, you’ll quickly understand Eeto’s ability to put events and deadlines into perspective. Most calendars show months in blocks, weeks in loops, or days in vertical views. But like most sane humans, Eeto views time as a straight path, forward and backward. We are a small team, and Eeto is a work in progress. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future releases. For now, you can create events (including recurring) and get a feel for the user interface. In the future, we hope to bring you features like sharing, print, import, custom colors, and plug into other apps. We hope you enjoy this project and please share your thoughts! Reviews of Eeto Calendar

  • Great functioning app!!

Looking for an app to help schedule my important events for my job. This app takes care of that. I love the coloring of the events to help me distinguish the what and when.
    Keep up the good work!
  • Very simple and convenient

This calendar makes it easy to keep track of what’s important. Recommended to anybody that wants to organize their schedule!
  • Love the SIMPLICITY!!!

If there is a way to keep the user interface of your app as simple as it is currently, please do, even if it is just a light, $1.99 app.
    My recommendations (hopes) are:
-Keep only the current view (plus maybe the ability to zoom in and out ... not sure how difficult that would be to do?)
-Add more flexibility to reoccurring event options.
-Add additional color options (perhaps a sliding color picker) and associate the variation from dark to light with the number of remaining events scheduled, (for reoccurring events). For example, if you have 4 payments to make on a cc, one per month for 4 months, the first payment is in 100% opacity (or shading), the second, 75%, the third, 50%, and the forth, 25% — a simple visual reminder to reschedule anything set to expire.
-Add an optional checkbox to each event, to provide the functionality of a checklist, if desired.

    Developer Response

Hi - Thanks for reaching out! I'm finally going to have some time to add some of these features. Stay tuned.
