Avoid - do not use this service
1. The app itself is broken, and doesn’t allow you to set your delivery / pickup location.
2. The pickup driver missed the pickup window, with no communication until after the window had passed, and was difficult to coordinate with to have the laundry picked up.
3. They tried to deliver the laundry days earlier than the scheduled window - when no one was home, and were upset when they couldn’t deliver.
4. Because the app is broken, you have to pay cash. The service was insistent that I Whatsapp them pictures of the cash I was going to pay them with before issuing a new delivery driver.
5. On the scheduled delivery day, they showed up early - and called to come down and meet them - but had gone to the wrong address.
This idea works elsewhere, with other companies. But Pick My Laundry is far more trouble than its worth to actually have your laundry picked up and delivered.
