Needs improvement
It's a good game and a good concept but does need quite a bit of improvement. The game is very hard to get used to and could do with simpler controls. The gameplay could also be improved as nearly every pass I make gets intercepted. It is also very hard to dribble and you get tackled very easily. Please listen to my feedback and improve the game as I believe it could be made batter and be a lot more enjoyable.Show lessHazeyboy78

So close to being great
The basic controls and feel of the game are a very good concept and is very enjoyable. However the game is such a challenge in that the ability of your goalkeeper and the CPU goalkeeper is vastly different, making it very hard to score yourself while the computer is smashing them in from miles away. A simple update to level out the goalkeepers ability would make the experience less frustrating. Other than that 5*.Show lessheokverv
Don't quite understand how people can't play this
It's incredibly easy once you get the hang of it. Take on an easy team to start with and eventually the goals will flow.
Noticed someone mentioned they can't find anyone to play online, it's local multiplayer only and I have destroyed my brother multiple times to great enjoyment. Five stars for sure.Show lesshoboagogo
Insensible Soccer
Possibly the most annoying game I've ever played. Ridiculously hard - if you lose by 5 goals you've played a blinder. Impossible to score from corners - and impossible to defend, which means that conceding a corner = conceding a goal Opposition goalkeepers are superhuman, your goalkeeper is always Joe Hart. Oh and did I mention the hypersensitive swipe control, which means that every clearance ends up in a different solar system? And the temperamental tackling system that works intermittently at best? They should rename this game England 2016 - promises so much but utterly fails to deliver the goods (and laughhs all the way to the bank).Show lessHowaymanref
Waste of money
I don't usually write reviews but I did this so no one else has to waste their money on such a horrible game. The attempt to make it realistic by adding touches to the game is the worst idea ever because even a pass from one foot away the player will manage to take such a bad touch it goes out of play. The goalkeepers are awful on your team but on the other they're unstoppable. Trying to run is completely useless because u will accidentally press on your teammate and it will pass usually being intercepted by the opponent. And to top it off. Couldn't find a single game in 5 minutes on full internet connection. The fact that there is a scroll wheel in the multiplayer search menu is actually kind of embarrassing

I love this game!!! Best footy game ever
Not only does this game take me back to the best era of gaming, it's perfectly adapted to the ipad so I can play with sweeps and taps across the whole screen rather than the rubbish onscreen controllers that every other game makes me put up with. The game is so addictive. Love that I can play and manage my team all the way through the leagues. In short, there'll never be a better ipad footy game!Show lessmarkward77
Incredibly disappointing
The original game is fantastic. This game, however is terrible: the ability of your team's goalkeepers needs desperately to be upgraded - I lost a game 8-1 despite having more shots, both on target and overall than my opponent. I also think that, if either of the apps should have to be paid for, it should be the original, as there is vastly more content in that game - the management, the number of different competitions, the statistics it gives.
This is a terrible waste of money in the games current state and a tremendous shame, as simply implementing the new tournaments and the multiplayer with the same gameplay as the original would have made a far superior game. Real touch screen soccer
The best football game I have played on my iPad and the only one that is touchscreen NOT awful on screen buttons. I loved the original but the game engine here is smoother. You can play international teams for the first time and there is stuff to unlock. No IAP and the closest game to Sensible out there. If you have a touchscreen device then get this. Along with NSS and FM this is a game changer. Imagine mastering a football team, doing 1-2's, free kicks, slide tackles, wonder goals with the swipe of a finger.
