Getting things ready for Eurofurence 28? Well so are we! Dive straight in to check out what's all changed and new for this year with our first-ever cross-platform app! Bugfixes - Images would sometimes not be updated. - Put some reins on tab labels to restrain overly long ones. - Search for dealers was not always showing expected results. - Rapid profile reload could cause issues. - Favorite button on events/dealers restyled. - Header hit slop may cause accidental taps. - Parts of map were hidden by result view. - Thumbnails on dealer listing would flash during rapid scrolling. - PMs took too long to get marked as read. - Minor additional bugs and issues. Getting things ready for Eurofurence 28? Well so are we! Dive straight in to check out what's all changed and new for this year with our first-ever cross-platform app! Features - Support for iOS/iPadOS. - App is now in realtime (low frequency but not static anymore). - Authentication with eurofurence IDP including an all-new profile view. - Dealers can be added to favorites. - Global search on home: Search added to all places, back-press with search text clears search. - New dealer list screens with automatic categorization. - Events can be hidden and can be revealed again in the settings. - Warnings (language, timezone, device issues) can be hidden. - Images can be opened now (dealer, event banner, announcement). - Dealers and images can be shared. - Medium theme added. - Artist Alley registration directly from the app. - Device timezone: use the app in another timezone and see the event times in your local time. User Interface - Happening indicator now "LIVE" text instead of pulsing dot. - Progress bar for the events that are currently going on. - Favorites shown with a heart and in different color. - Notification text if the event or dealer was updated since your last visit. - Notification text on the home screen if any of your favorites was changed. - Timezone warning added. - Home-screen banner adjusted to allow more space for the new UI elements on the home screen. - Dealers now have keywords for all their categories. - Separate announcement screen for when there's a lot going on. - Toasts for when stuff in the app goes right (or wrong). - New dealer links available, for example Discord handles. - New glyph icon for ticketed events. - A lot of minor fixes here too. Performance and Bugfixes - Event/dealer lists and general UI performance issues fixed, now runs on Fenrikur's old Nokia. - Markdown theme performance fixed. - App pulls the relevant item for push notifications, so it doesn't open just to the home screen. - New native screen integrations used for performance. - A ton of minor issues. We cast some spells, brewed some potions and may have blown up a few cauldrons in the process, but it's the end result that counts, right? Our login-related features were affected by shifting ley lines and are thus unavailable this year, but worry not, they will be back once things have settled down some. Apart from that, the Eurofurence app will be your trusty, virtual familiar that guides you through the mysterious realms of the CCH in Hamburg and keeps you informed on all the latest revelations taking place, so make sure to hang on tight to your magical mirrors when you travel to Hamburg! See you there! Getting our spellbooks dusted off, cauldrons preheated and ingredients stocked up for Eurofurence 27, we may have missed a few cobwebs here and the odd mushroom there, so this patch release fixes some of those issues: - items in the list of available maps should no longer glitch when changing screen orientation and - images in the info and dealer views were strongly told to stay within reasonable bounds instead of being all over the screen.

We’ve made a few more changes following your feedback! The schedule can now be filtered to favourites outside of searches, and events can be added to the system calendar. Additionally, we fixed a bug where the schedule may appear empty on first launch and an associated crash when tapping the tab bar. Enjoy the convention!

We’ve made a few changes and fixed a few bugs following your feedback! In particular you can use the previous app icon rather than this year's themed icon if you wish. Use the Settings cog in the News tab to switch between the two. Enjoy the convention!

- Setting sail for EF26! - The app now supports dark mode, for all you night-owls out there - We've improved support for iPads and larger iPhones in landscape by adding an extra column, making better use of the extra space - Users on iOS 15 can place a widget to display upcoming events on the Home Screen. This can be customised to show upcoming or running events, optionally filtered to just favourites, so you always know when and where to hunt for treasure! We've also "encouraged" a few bugs to walk the plank and scrubbed the deck.

3.1.3 - Tightened up some app aesthetics. - Text in event detail descriptions can now be selected for copy/pasting. Links are now also tappable in event descriptions. - Fixed a few issues when trying to upload an image during Artists Alley table registration. 3.1.2 - Fixed a few problems with adding events to your favourites using the swipe gesture in the schedule tab. - A few usability improvements have been made in the Maps, Collect 'em All and Additional Services tabs - Knowledge entries can now be shared in a similar manner to Events and Dealers.
