Horrible controls
I quickly got frustrated with the on-screen controls, so I pulled out my Xbox controller in hopes that it would help. A little, but not enough to make it playable.electronic_liz
Metroid-Vania apparently means something new
I guess in a sense this has a Metroid-Vania root, but after a while I just got a bit bored. Its not a bad game, and its not complicated, but I feel its a bit boring. Its absolutely gorgeous to look at, and obviously a lot of time and effort was put into it.
My over all take was this: Youre a floating robot, floating around inside this planet, blowing stuff up. You dodge lava and a few obstacles, float here and there and do the thing... Slowly.
Im not sure the point, or the story and maybe for some thats cool, but for me I need a bit less open endedness. Even games like Ico and Shadow of the Colusus, or even Brightridge have a bit more of a point in directive -- even if that directive is "look around and enjoy".
Its pretty, its slow, its kind of interesting... but not interesting enough for me to keep on my mobile. Thanks for the offering!Show lessboe_dye

If you enjoy being frustrated out of your mind with an avatar that is not controllable and mindlessly meanders on the screen when you are trying to complete a timed sequence that requires precision - than this game is for you!
Unfortunately it’s more likely you will give up early in the game and wonder why game designers are clueless to what makes a game an enjoyable past time.

controls ruin the experience
the low speed and high inertia of the character in this game do okay for building tension, but also tend to make the game unsatisfying to play. precision moves are unnecessarily difficult, and moving any considerable distance on the map is extremely tedious.bkallin
Beautiful experience
This is a mellow metroidvania with beautiful visuals and a unique vibe.
The controls and combat are really cool. A lot of people are complaining about the “driftiness” of the movement, but I really like it - it feels like you’d expect it would to pilot a little hovering drone. The weapons are very interesting - more defensive than offensive, have to sometimes be used creatively.

Metroidvania
I love this game and it is a great metrovania! The art style and the ambiance is very neat. I recommend this game if you like Metroidvania's :DSomeOneSpicy

Fantastic exploration game
I made it to “the end?” on an ipad with no cheats in two days, so it’s not too difficult. The puzzles and bosses are creative and varied. The scenery is beautiful. Most of the puzzles I think are optional. At least you can go somewhere else if you get stuck on one puzzle. I wish the controls were a little more responsive.. Another example of a game that needs to have a free test phase
Very pretty game, but it's extremely difficult to control the movement of the character with the necessary precision and speed on a touchscreen, especially limited to left hand and having the game set up so its your left thumb doing to movement control.
Some of the puzzles require fast and accurate flying within a time limit which is just about impossible on an iPad.
This is one of many games that should have a free test game with samples of the different types of controls and such, or it should offer a refund.Show less7LeagueBoots
