Break’s calculated grade different from my actual grad
Hi, so I didn’t add or change any grades, but for the calculated grade break gives me it states 91 percent but my grade in the actual school loop says 86.sammy28499291

Unfortunately, break can do this when it doesn't understand the grading scheme your class uses, which can occur when your teacher uses a custom grade format. In this case, trust the "Original" grade view, which performs no extra calculation and hence will not get confused with nonstandard rubrics. There is another school with my same name in a different district and the app automatically defaults to that one instead of allowing me to choose mine and therefore I am unable to login.LukeResh
Good, but it needs a reset button
Please make it possible to quickly reset grades after changing them to check how something would effect a grade.starndust31

You can tap the title bar (where the course name is, next to a disclosure arrow) to access a menu that lets you switch between different views–"Original" will show you what your grade was originally, and "Differences" lets you compare your modified grade with the original one and tell you the difference. break will clear out your changes when you exit the view and go back to the courses page, so you can use this a quick way to throw away all your changes and start again. I <3 this app and it’s a great idea overall-however, the one class I’m failing at rn(Chem H lol) I for some reason can’t view. Like I press the course <Chem H> and nothing shows up under grades. Please please please fix this :)likesiriusly

Great app, could use a few more features
This app is great for checking to see how my grade would change if I had received a different score, or the score I need to get a certain grade. However, I still use the regular school loop app for everything else because of its appearance. This app does not look that great: some colors for classes are very similar, the UI is bland, and the items are close together. If I could suggest a couple of features, I might say to add the ability to change the color of specific classes. I would also appreciate if the point value for assignments and the period they belong to are visible on the assignments page. Overall, this is a great app for experimenting with your grade, but I don’t think it is suitable (in my opinion) for primary use at this state.Show lessM Royle

break now uses a new coloring algorithm that is guaranteed to deterministically choose colors that are as dissimilar as possible, which hopefully resolves your issues with the color scheme. I'm continually looking for ways to change the UI for the better, so I'll keep your other suggestions in mind when designing parts of the app.Great features but bad interface
Make the assignments and grades of your class easier to read. It’s an eye sore. But love the features of the app. Also some of the buttons to edit your grade are hard to press. Maybe you should have to click on the assignment then change the grade easily. And when you add assignments you should have it the same way. So it’s easier to choose categories instead of trying to click on a little area on the screen.
