this cannot find any of my smart kk original WiFi plugs. and the app now requires a cloud login and claims to need my precise location in order to work at all.
the original app didn't need login or location settings m order to work. and thus this feels like it's become yet another tentacle of the cancerous strongman running china.

This is really bad
Tried connecting a smart LED and I couldn’t even get past the second menu. It says there’s no connection to WLAN and doesn’t go anywhere from there. Using the Chinese app it was easy and got the job done. English app is nothing but a joke.

Poor usability and crashes adding plug
The app has bad ux and after last update it remove all devices and also it crashes when trying to add a new device. Not even the happy path works.

English app version doesn’t work
I like the plugs and have had them working for a couple of years now, but the Chinese app version is a little challenging sometimes, so decided to try the English app (not surprising😊) but it wouldn’t connect to the plugs - oh well, they still work well with the Chinese app
Terrible app for English
Only Chinese app works for us in Australia but the app is all in Chinese and terrible.
Please fix the English app or add English option into the Chinese app.

Fix English version for miniK
As many have said, chinese works, but English shows offline. The new English app also works with google home, but Chinese one does not. Please either add google home support to Chinese, or add miniK support to English. It’s as if you are running two backend systems.
