Doesn’t work on the 2018 i pad pro 12.9
Not sure what the issue is but having installed and reinstalled the app several times, the app will not open on newest i pad pro—oddly it does open on the older 12.9 i pad pro I can’t find a way to get app support so am using this to try to get some help
Good but needs work
I am an Italian-English translator, and the Zanichelli electronic dictionaries and their functionality on both my Mac and iPad are second to none and an integral part of my workflow. I now have an iPad Pro 12.9", and I was hopeful that I could use split screen functionality with this app. The app allows you to see two apps on screen at one time, but the Zanichelli app is truncated so you can only see a part of the app's content. Also, the download time for the Ragazzini dictionary was truly glacial...over four hours! This is also the case when I download the Zanichelli dictionaries to my hard drive on my computer. Furthermore, downloading stops if the iPad goes into sleep mode, so you essentially have to keep the iPad on, plugged in and out of use while this is downloading. They would do well to upgrade their servers. Otherwise, as noted above, the dictionary's features and functionality are second to none. I have annual subscriptions to both the Ragazzini and Zingarelli dictionaries, and I highly recommend this.
