  • Crashes iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 17

After launching this my phone slows to a crawl and becomes totally unresponsive. If the Lock Screen comes up it’s all over. There’s no getting it working again without 10+ minutes of painful force quitting and rebooting and over again.

    Update:
I believe the issue is related to having the Apple Watch connected. (1) a couple of weeks ago I noticed the heart rate on the watch would not be reflected in the app unless I raised my wrist to view the heart rate. (2) today after it crashed my phone, the watch app kept running on its own. Eventually I switched to Fitness App even though my watch was still running the workout and force quit peak fitness. A few reboots and force quits later, I finally had a working phone again. I had also, by now, closed the app on the watch. In retrospect, that may have been the reason my phone became usable again.
