Loving this app

User friendly, have saved all my favourites so I know where I can find them and checked out what events are on. Plus shared w family so they can search what they are looking for from the comfort of their own home. Dads looking for kennels and search button has made easy for him to find. Plus love the pin my car function

Too easy

Easy app to use, love being able to save my favourites so I can plan my day. Great work!

Useless

Horrifically terrible. Put up with the ridiculously slow loading and crashing every other time I opened, but did get to work for a while. Managed to Save a list of favourite exhibitors to visit, despite the terrible search that requires exact names. Opened to check off my list of anyone else to visit, only to find my favourites list had been deleted/ cleared/ forgotten! Waste of time and data. It’s a shame that a “non-profit” has probably been charged an absolute fortune for this disaster!

Try again

The app worked while at the fieldays but not when I am away or at night. Could be intended but it sure is annoying when you want to look something up! An app that is only available at certain times is not a useful app at all!

Won’t work for me

Downloaded the app last year and loved it. However this year downloaded the new release and it won’t even open! Deleted and re downloaded but same issue. Disappointing as was really looking forward to it, will have to try it on another device and see if it works.

Crash central

The updated app crashes when on the opening screen every time I open it.

This is worse than when I tried to use it 2 years ago.

I attempted to use the app so I can find a list of exhibitors and sites so I can plan my day at fieldays 2018. Fieldays have not yet published a list exhibitors on their website

If your problem persists, please email marketing@fieldays.co.nz with more details about your phone so we can look into it for future releases. There is also a map available on the Fieldays website www.fieldays.co.nz where you can search exhibitors.

Needs work

App crashes frequently. After putting in favourites they were initially displayed then after a crash they fail to display on the map or show in the listing. Makes the app pretty useless. Don’t bother unless you want to tear your hair out in frustration.

Hi Steve. There was an update yesterday that fixed a bug causing favourites in some cases not to load up when the app was restarted. Can you try the new version 3.4.12 please? Thanks.

Location Settings Bug & poor car locator

I found that initially no exhibitors showed up with the default Location Services (Privacy) settings: Access when using the App. They didn't show up until I toggled it to 'Always', then back to the default.

This was pretty annoying, since I AM one of the Exhibitors.

The 'Pin my Car' feature also works poorly: while it saved the location of my car, it's very difficult to locate and orientate yourself in that map, because whenever you hit the Update Position button to update your location, the map zooms OUT to max size.
