  • Huge improvement!

    I know there was a period of time where the app was pretty glitchy but it seems those bugs have been fixed. I absolutely love this app for the wealth of nutrition and health information it provides as well as the simple, delicious recipes. It’s my go-to whether I want to plan and try a new recipe or need something in a pinch. Also can’t say enough about the good work of PCRM as an organization. Solid app, happy they’ve done the work on it to keep it around!

  • Day 2 recipes total less than 30g protein

    If you sum the total protein from the Day 2 recipes it’s less than 30g for the day. Humans need 40-60g. Disappointing for this app to provide that sort of suggestion.

    Good app otherwise except the Feedback option also produces and error (Australian account here)
  • Unbelievably good app

    This entirely free app is perfect for vegans, beginners and long time vegans.

    Dozens of really nutritious and very easy mainly oil free breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snack recipes that are easy to follow, as well as a 21 day kickstart program with weekly shopping g lists.

    There’s also about 50 x 2 or 3-minute videos.

    I’ve been vegan for years but this is about the handiest app I’ve ever seen.

  • Great app for recipes & for sharing WFPB lifestyle

    I like this easy to use app for its recipes and, even tho I have been firmly WFPB for many yers, I enjoy using this kickstart periodically to refresh my awareness and tweak the healthfulness of my daily diet. I have also had the opportunity to share the app with WFPB-curious friends — in addition to the recipes, the videos provide a friendly introduction to the benefits of this lifestyle choice.

  • This app has everything!

    From easy-to-follow recipes and the nutrition videos to complement, this app provides all you need to start the 21-day transition (or try out) a whole-food plant-based diet. I love that the recipes are diverse and the meals are flavorful. It also helped me to find ways of preparing some foods I wasn’t already good at including regularly!

  • Amazing FREE resource

    The updated Kickstart app is top notch! Not only is it FREE, but it’s easy to use and available in both English and Spanish. You can follow the 21-day meal plan or just search for your favorite recipes. Some of my favorites are Chickpeas with Gravy, No-Bake Brownie Bites, Irresistible White Bean Dip, and Sweet Potato Fries.

  • Great app for new and longtime vegans!

    This app provides so many delicious recipes that are healthy and generally simple to make! I highly recommend it for anyone who is vegan or wants to try more plant-based eating!

    As a dietitian, I am approached about resources and apps to help with transitioning to a plant-based diet all the time. This app has recipes, meal plans, grocery lists plus education and videos! Great one-stop shop for learning more about eating for your health!
  • Simple, handy tool for new vegans

    Great app: the recipes are tasty, simple, and have good variety. I found the schedule easy enough to deviate from if I decided to scale up the portions of some recipes and eating something several days in a row so I wouldn’t always need to cook. It also meant saving some of the recipes to come back to after the 21 days!

    This app has had some technical updates that fixed many of the bugs other reviewers have been experiencing. I’m someone who would prefer to look at my computer rather than my phone while cooking, so I hope future updates include a more seamless linking out to parallel resources that can be accessed from a laptop web browser.
