All of my dreams are gone
The biggest point of this app for me was to journal my dreams so I did that and I’ve been doing it for years and they all got deleted so I’m pretty sure I’m gonna be deleting this app. I get really attached to my dreams and now I can’t get them back, that was like a whole year of my dreams gone. All of those memories that I didn’t keep somewhere else. So thanks, I’m really upset that they all got erased & that I’m probably never going to get them back. Next time consider giving out a warning from the app or something b/c I didn’t write them down anywhere but in this app...Show lessbreanna.s

Hey as everyone else says they lost their dreams after the update,I unfortunately did too I had been with this app for a whole year now.I really do like the new update it has a lot of great things and I started saving dreams again,just wanted to say thank you for trying your best and I know you care about your customers so keep up the good work,but next time please don’t forget to make sure a there’s a way people can keep their dreams when updating the app. sorry I just had a lot of dreams heh I only remember a couple and they were crazy mostly nightmarish uh just to sum it up I want to say thank you for caring for the customers not many developers care too much for us so yeah keep up the good work.Show lessMemeeeeeerrreeeeeeerrr

Ok so first off, I lost one of my favorite dreams of a flying school bus and a zombie apocalypse. I don’t even know how to get it back, the memory of it is now a blur because of the app being updated. Second, should there be a regeneration button if we lost our dreams that were our favorites? Like, I like the app and all, but losing the dreams is like probably like a mistake for updating the app. My favorite dream is now a blur so I can’t type it 😰😰😰😡😫😫😭😭😭😭 will you please fix it??? I am extremely sorry about you losing your dreams! Because I changed the dream journal's internals, The data files were lost in the process before I could keep them! I spent hours trying to find the local data files for existing users dream but they were long gone :( I feel horrible for saying that you can't restore your dreams back but it is the truth. I am a new developer and it was a large mistake that I cannot reverse. Again, I am so sorry for you losing your dreams and it seems to be a lot of people's issue with the update. I hope I don't lose you as a valuable consumer of Lucidity as people like you are the reason I can keep this app up and running. The loss of dreams will NOT happen again as i've created a failsafe for the dream storing. Thank you for your understanding, Shane. I prefer the old version. While the startup animations look sleek and professional they take time and I feel distract from the original purpose of the app. However, the app contains good information and the dream recording set up is very nice, with areas for title, body, and questions, tags, and proper nouns.
The most irksome thing is that the update auto installed and I lost all of my dreams. All of them. This makes me very reluctant to continue use when there are other apps for storing dreams that store in the cloud, and won’t be lost in an update. I didn’t even know it was updating until it was done and didn’t get a chance to screenshot or save any of my dreams; only knew once they were gone and I came to the App Store to see what was going on.Show lessZentangle czt26

Hello, thank you for reviewing my app. I am very sorry for you losing the dreams that were stored in the last version of lucidity. I tried as hard as I could to figure out a way to transfer over past dreams to the new version but because of the way they were being stored in your phone, I was not able to do so. This new dream journal version will not delete your dreams after an update, and this will not happen again. I’m am very thankful I have loyal users like you, and I hate to see my users upset. This is pretty cool!
However, I do ah e a few grievances I would love to have fixed. The keyboard over your text is annoying in the journal, a password lock in the journal would be nice, (or perhaps add an option for just specific or individual dreams/entries as well), and you should be able to add/remove/edit those “Keywords/Important Points” and “People/Places” things. (Or at least, make it easier to do so, if it’s possible already and I haven’t found it yet.)
Also, as it seems you respond to your customer(?)’s reviews, may I ask when the next update will be with all these features you say will be added?Show lessspongedongs

My only problem with the app is that the cloud icon covers the first button this is probably just a me problem but I have tried deleting and reinstalling it but it's still in the wrong place. Help pleaseHmgxxufyg

The app is great I love all the different techniques and it's super easy to navigate. The only fix I think should be made to the dream journal. It gets tough to write in the journal after a certain point because all of the words get hidden under the keyboard. Also when adding pronouns etc. they disappear after I press back. Overall an amazing app just needs its fixes.Show lesssinghd18
