I am extremely sorry about you losing your dreams! Because I changed the dream journal's internals, The data files were lost in the process before I could keep them! I spent hours trying to find the local data files for existing users dream but they were long gone :( I feel horrible for saying that you can't restore your dreams back but it is the truth. I am a new developer and it was a large mistake that I cannot reverse. Again, I am so sorry for you losing your dreams and it seems to be a lot of people's issue with the update. I hope I don't lose you as a valuable consumer of Lucidity as people like you are the reason I can keep this app up and running. The loss of dreams will NOT happen again as i've created a failsafe for the dream storing. Thank you for your understanding, Shane. Good info but lost dreams
The most irksome thing is that the update auto installed and I lost all of my dreams. All of them. This makes me very reluctant to continue use when there are other apps for storing dreams that store in the cloud, and won’t be lost in an update. I didn’t even know it was updating until it was done and didn’t get a chance to screenshot or save any of my dreams; only knew once they were gone and I came to the App Store to see what was going on.

Hello, thank you for reviewing my app. I am very sorry for you losing the dreams that were stored in the last version of lucidity. I tried as hard as I could to figure out a way to transfer over past dreams to the new version but because of the way they were being stored in your phone, I was not able to do so. This new dream journal version will not delete your dreams after an update, and this will not happen again. I’m am very thankful I have loyal users like you, and I hate to see my users upset. From the bottom of my heart, I am very sorry. Thank you for using Lucidity.

Thanks for your review! The new update that is being released in the coming day or two will fix all these problems by introducing a whole new dream journal, and a couple of extra fun features! Stay tuned.
