I really enjoyed using this app, easy to use- until I wrote my entire entry and the app freezes on me and I lost everything I wrote(I’m going through a lot in life right now so I wrote A LOT) Because I wrote that much I didn’t have it in me to write it all over again. It was hard for me to even write it down- I’m grieving very bad and was using this app as a coping mechanism my therapist said journaling would be useful since I have no support around me but I need something private; that’s why I downloaded this app since you need a password to get in. I no longer use it because of that reason hopefully the creators can update the app to be more reliable and not crash. Or perhaps maybe have an automatic save every time you write the next word in the entry(constantly saving what your currently writing).Show lessninaaaat

Thoroughly disappointed
Literally just downloaded this because I thought starting a diary would be wonderful right now and despite it not being a highlighted app or in any of apples little special lists I found it and thought it was the prettiest looking by far. It just felt right, and upon downloading I loved the layout and everything about it. Started writing my first diary entry, was so happy only to have that ripped away when the app like crashed and I lost all my writing. I was a bit frustrated but I started again, doing a little bit with myself in the diary that it was attempt number 2. But as you may be able to guess from the fact I’m here, it crashed again and I lost my writing. And thus I deleted the app because I can’t use a diary app that literally won’t let me finish my writing because it’s closing itself. Unfortunately I think I’ll have to download one of those highlighted apps now, because they may be uglier and not pink but at least it won’t delete all the cute things I’m writing about my paramour. I am really pleased with this app the only reason I didn’t give it a five star review is because there are quite a few ads although they are easy to click off and get rid of. I like the personalisation elements and it’s easier than keeping a real diary.Georgia 07943

This app is amazing. It is free and has a password and I have wanted a diary for a long line but I have 1 problem that is that I hate writhing but now I type it and my hands don’t get sore this is amazing. 10 out of 10 would recommend.prinsess gamer

I was never interested in diary’s but when I found out about this app I was hooked to download it! I would spend most of my time writing in it ! It helped me transfer from only playing video games to writing out my feelings !Janeeman zahir

I’ve literally been using this app for 2 days my mom said no to it the first time cause she was worried about my safety but she allowed it after I gave her my passcode. THIS APP IS THE ONLY APP WITH A PASSCODE U DONT HAVE TO PAY TO USE A PASSCODE EVER CREATED!!!!!!!! I have had different lock diaries and the ones I’ve had I immediately got rid of cause it says “lock diary completely free” but u open the app and it’s like ain’t free gotta pay for the passcode after surfing the internet for 5 hours straight I find this open it and boom 💥 immediately a passcode with no fee! It has beautiful fonts different diary themes and it works so well I haven’t had a glitch yet I recommend this to kids, teens, and tweens the graphics are lovely don’t think 2 times to get this app JUST GET IT!!!Show lessunicornlovergurrrlll
I guess I really should give no stars.
I’ve written 2 whole journal entries, and the app has deleted them both. I hit save each time and when I go back to the calendar the next day, it’s not there. If I click on the date after i save it, the same day, it will bring it back up. But it never shows it on the calendar and once the day changes, the previous day’s entry is gone. The only options are save and close. Save won’t work, so I tried close and that completely deletes everything I wrote, immediately. Aside from the obvious, that it doesn’t work at all... it also only allows you to use it in portrait, but why in the world would anyone want to type on a tiny little keyboard, when they can turn their iPads sideways and have a full-sized keyboard to use? Exactly. Also, my iPad case only stands up in landscape. I will be deleting this app immediately and finding something else. Nice try though. It’s pretty! 🤷♀️Show lessCoryann8

So..... I have been trying to find just the write diary and this is the one. Some make you pay for the lock and it’s like it wants you to pay to WRITE your feelings out but have to pay. So ya. But then I found this one and I’m in love with it cause my feelings won’t be stuck in my brain sitting there. This app lets you write out your feelings with no one else knowing what your writing! It has the passcode free! It is soups amazing!!! You can write whatever you want! I’m talking to you vsco girls! Sksksksksksk! So I would totally get this app for you! It is the best thing ever! Also.....you know I used to write in a paper diary and I’m always afraid someone will look at it. So this is great! It is passcode protected! Definitely Get This App
I was really surprised that for once in a diary app you didn’t need to buy the special features that allow you to have a password! There are ads but they are just the small ones at the bottom of your screen.
