  • DONT USE THIS APP

This app is terrible, it can only move playlists with less than 100 songs, and even then it misses some, replaces them with others, or just adds completely random songs. it may only be $1 a month for the subscription (which obviously you cancel after the first month), but it’s not worth it, just spend a little bit more on a better app

  • Doesn’t work. Scam!!!

99 cents to transfer and update playlists isn’t bad. However, it doesn't give you a free trial to see if it works, which is kinda shady but it was only 99 cents. This app is a scam. It won't transfer any of my playlists. Whenever I try to start a playlist transfer, it shows the playlist but ain’t sure the subs in it. Then it would just say “transfer error”.

Absolute waste of .99 cents. I definitely think this app developer is a scammer as nobody who’s legit would have an app in the App Store that’s free to download but upon downloading are required to pay to even access the app or basic features. Basic features that were never intended to work since this app is a scam!

  • DONT BUY THEY’RE SCAMMING PEOPLE WILL NOT REPLY

I paid outright for the app for full lifetime access, and they still want me to pay subscription. I’ve written customer service multiple times and I’ve provided my original iTunes App Store receipt with the same account same email and everything. I have yet to receive any response Apple you should ban these guys. This is becoming a pattern from developers more and more it’s unfortunate, because initially this was a some really awesome software.

  • it doesn’t transfer anything

usually, i don’t go out of my way to write reviews but this actually upset me.

i was looking for songshift (very good app i recommend that instead) alternatives because they stopped allowing you to scan your songs for free. i found houdini and thought it was a good deal. .99 cents to transfer and update playlists, who wouldn’t take that? however, it doesn’t give you a free trial to see if it works, which is kinda shady but i didn’t mind it because it was only .99 cents. It won’t transfer any of my playlists -_-. whenever i click the “open in [insert streaming service]” button it tells me that there is an error.

absolute waste of .99 cents. i will just stick to songshift and might even play 6 dollars in order to scan my playlists for new songs.

  • Spotty

Overall an OK app. Wasn’t able to get it to work with Apple Music - so beware, if you’re trying to transfer to/from Apple Music, this may not work for you. Save yourself the $0.99 and try a more reliable app.

This one refers to an online FAQ to resolve the Apple Music problem… which just says some nonsense about Apple Music not being installed on the device. This is despite logging into the app using my apple information on an iPhone. A manual Apple Music login feature would be a nice workaround for the integration failure, if possible.

  • Previous purchasers left with useless app

I purchased this app in 2018. Back then, it was a one-time purchase. Since then, they’ve switched to a subscription model (as most apps have). That’s all fine, but if apps do that, the respectable thing to do is to preserve the usefulness of the app for those who already paid. But instead, the restore purchases button does nothing and I’m stuck with an app that merely shows me a paywall. What a great waste of money!

Additionally, I e-mailed their support about this a month ago - wanted to give a chance for them to make it right. But after a month, I still have not received a response, which just seems really unprofessional. Oh well - guess it’s back to manual playlist transfers 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Purchased but now the purchase expired?

So I foolishly updated this app which I’d previously purchased, and now it says the app requires a subscription, and there’s a “restore purchase” button that apparently is fake (the “terms of use” and “privacy policy” buttons that look similar both work perfectly) I guess at least if you pay for a subscription you’ll know for a fact you don’t own it

  • Disappointed

I have supported this app for years even back to the old red logo. I paid $0.99 for this app back then and have since been told I have to pay for the subscription. Annoying that they can just change the rules and pricing after I purchased the app and it’s services outright.
  • Did not work on iPhone 12 Pro

I purchased for 1 month to try. Does not work. I got errors when trying to connect with music services. I sent the issue and screenshot of errors, but got no response from developer. Use SongShift instead. It worked perfectly, and much better UI!
  • Y’all sold out bruh

This app was the perfect FREE music transferring app but y’all just HAD to sell out and make it a subscription service smh
