Great app for kids I used it to transfer from the beginner method to cfop method on solving a Rubik’s cube

Place where predators are roaming! Beware!
If I could I would give a 0 stars
At first glance the app looks very nice and possibly a place where your child could share their talented art work. But recently I decided to see what art my child has been posting and was horrified to find out whole conversations between what seemed to be grown men about the child’s body and how sweet they are, also inappropriate movie offers DIRECTLY to the child under an innocent child art pictures or selfies. Then I checked who is following my child and was shocked even worse. Cause I checked who the followers of my child were also following and read their comments - straight Pedo stuff!
The most disturbing thing was that among the comments of those pedo guys was a comment from one of the admins of this app!
Save your children, at least this once and delete this app and pass the word on. I’m contemplating reporting this app to the BBB. The idea is nice but in execution - this place is like a candy shop for pedos.

Overall good but you can’t post what you want even if it’s family friendly
It’s like OK I guess but like you have to pay but like it’s a kids app like it should be free and if anyone’s wondering I’m @Minecrafterppro My old account got banned from posting a family friendly time lapse of me a colouring in a colouring page

It’s very safe and fun and it lets kids like me enjoy being with other kids and having fun online!

I signed up for what I thought was a free platform last year at some point, my kids used it a couple times, I decided it wasn’t for us, and deleted the app. Little did I know I was automatically enrolled for subscription renewal at $80. It was quite the surprise to see on my credit card statement that I was charged $80 a few days ago for a subscription I didn’t know existed. I received no emails to let me know my subscription (that I clearly didn’t want) was about to renew, which is just plain predatory. The app says it is always free for educators. I am a homeschool mom of two. I would love to talk to someone about this charge on my credit card, but after searching the website and app, I cannot find any way to contact anyone at DIY. Beware. It is NOT FREE. And clearly predatory. I will be contacting the FCC.

Best app ever ty
The app had great potential, it went downhill
As a person who has used diy even when it wasn’t merged with JAM I’ve seen it change over time, change is normal but there is some issues with the management that isn’t exactly cool. One problem is the lack of sincere commitment by the mods. It feels like they can’t be bothered to deal with problems that properly now. Its just a shame really since i really loved some of the courses and challenges there. Now it’s mostly clout based. Kids just want tons of likes and complain if they don’t. It’s no longer serving the community with fun and new creative ideas and challenges. Its just a big competition between a bunch of kids who want likes. Thanks for reading my review -ex diyer
