Solid gameplay with good range and depth and no ads! Also, no English!
I tried out both SINCETIMES ‘Warship Saga’ titles and honestly can’t find the difference. Both are squad-based pvp tournament games with ample pve farming activities. It’s free to play with no ads, and even though it is described as English this doesn’t seem to be an option in-game and the UI is foreign. Luckily the game has a ‘go there, tap that’ assist to introduce new features as they are unlocked. You start with a single ship and slowly build up your squad and get better ships of improving rarity to then level-up, equip with modules of differing rarity that you also level-up, and eventually Captains of differing rarity to level-up. And then send out your squad to do simulated animated arcade battle against a human opponent to climb the ladder. It’s very formulaic but very well done, and stands out because of sheer number of gameplay activities to keep you going. If it was effectively localised I could see it being a huge hit. It offers new players a lot to get an accelerated start and you’ll hit level 30 before you know it, and then it’s a long grind as it slows down from there (currently over 100 levels). If you’re looking for a fun Warships game since the 2019 botched CV rework (amiright?) this is worth a look.
