My third game from this group
Nice graphics and storyline. Affordable and entertaining for a senior citizen! ๐
It's No "Secret" That I'm Loving This "Journey"!
Resubmitted due to updated app:
Your adventure unfolds in an original, enticing, and immersive conduction as it takes place in the 1940s during wartime in Europe. The artwork depicts congruous imagery, such as bomb-ridden debris scattered about; smoke-filled mines covered in rubble; and military-uniformed men with machine guns watching one's every move, portraying a worrisome and threatening atmosphere. The graphics are satisfactory, but they could be more polished and refined in detail. The color spectrum is enlivened and intensified with richly-textured and vivid shades that offer an entrancing experience. The background noises appropriately immerse one within the environment as war planes fly above; sirens sound off in alarm; and bombs explode from far off. The piano music invites a haunting and unsettling ambiance. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. You can customize your difficulty as you may set your criterion in accordance with listed variances. We, thankfully, can read our diary as the story advances. The map allows smooth and coherent transport to determined location, along with marked objectives and labeled locations. The HOS are multitudinous with a pleasant mix of various types; I appreciate that my favorite type frequently appears. Some puzzles are inventive and unique in both presentation and simplicity; their actions and themes blend into the premise rather suitably. I love the one where you steer the boat by manipulating the controls. There are several sets of theme-related collectibles; they are rather conspicuous in placement. Navigation was fluid and brisk; no glitches. I deducted a star because there's no bonus chapter, which is customary with this developer; in addition, the puzzles could use some more challenge, as well as the main game itself. Overall, still a great game for $2.99.

Great but still a bug
The chess piece that is "too high to reach" has no hints on how to get it. Nothing works and the hint button just keeps going to the chess piece. Please fix
Can't continue
I was really enjoying this game until I had to use railway cart and as it goes over a cliff the screen goes black and I can't continue with the game. I have even tried to skip the cut scene but it just freezes. Glad I only paid ยฃ1.49. Aren't these games tested?
Well made
Fun game
Cool!!!!
Interesting!!!!! It's so cool!!!! ๐
Great Artifex Mundi game!
I love Artifex Mundi games. I have played almost every one. This is a great one. But if I buy the game on my phone and want to play it on my computer, I don't want to have to pay for it again. I wish you could sign on to the Artifex Mundi website and have your own library of the games that you've bought. That would be awesome.

Worth the time and $, but missing some key features
This is the second game I've played that was developed by Brave Giant Games and published by Artifex Mundi (the first was Demon Hunter 2). Both games are at least as good as those published by Big Fish, and at a much better price.
Unfortunately, both lack a bonus chapter, which has become standard for HOAP games. Further, I couldn't find a strategy guide for Agent Walker -- a material omission. I was still able to complete the game with logic and by using a few hints.
I would have rated this 3 stars, but I relented because of the otherwise high quality of the game. You play the role of an agent protecting a powerful relic from the Nazis -- not quite Raiders of the Lost Ark, but the WWII era is reflected well in the graphics and overall style. The game lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours. Difficulty is configurable. There are several sets of collectibles, and you receive a creative reward involving archival footage if you find them all. The map enables teleportation and shows active tasks; I wish it had also indicated where there were collectibles to be found.
There is a nice mix of HOPs and minigames. Most of the HOPs are word lists that include morphing objects and "two-step" hidden items. The minigames range from easy to moderate in difficulty, and although I prefer more challenging puzzles, many of them were imaginative and engaging.
For the introductory price of $2.99, this is a no-brainer. I do hope that the developer includes bonus chapters and strategy guides in all future offerings.
UPDATE: It was brought to my attention that a few individuals have been systematically downgrading all of my reviews for HOAP games as "not helpful," so that my reviews appear at the bottom. Folks who write three words are ranked as more helpful than me. I'm not positive why this is happening and it's very hurtful. I spend a lot of time on these reviews and I'm objective as can be; I've never commented negatively on any other reviewer. If you truly think that something I've written isn't helpful, I accept that. But undermining my work to ensure that your review is shown at the top, or whatever other reason is driving this behavior, is small and petty.

Agent Walker: Secret Journey by LynxMinx
I am in exact agreement with my fellow DTE member, KimTwilight. This was a very good game, although it was a tad simplistic. It was still fun to play, albeit a bit short. I would have liked a bonus adventure.
You could customize settings. The story was easy to follow and the graphics were of war-torn Europe during WWII, and they were surprisingly beautiful in most scenes. Loading was instantaneous between locations. There were a lot of military collectibles, but I didn't really care about them. There was an excellent marked teleport map to transport you. Inventory was labeled and interactive, and there were complex items to assemble. The game was a bit HO heavy, with not much variation. The puzzles and mini-games were a bit on the easy side, but nevertheless they were fun to play. Sometimes it's nice to give your brain a bit of a rest and just enjoy the game. Artifex Mundi even gave us a journal, with notes and objectives, which were updated regularly. I don't know a thing about the hint system because I played the entire game without ever using one! And there were no rats, just one tiny little mouse, so after playing Redemption Cemetery, this was a pleasant relief! The game ran smoothly and glitch-free. I deducted a star only for length.
Btw Kim, don't waste money on Nancy Drew! The graphics were very dark, navigation was a pain, and the screen constantly froze! Thank you for letting us all know about new games. Just ignore the haters; they are irrelevant and most people who love this genre want to know what else is out there! You are a true gem! Lynxie sends โค๏ธ๐๐ to KimTwilight and the rest of the team!

World war 2 .....๐ซ๐ฃ๐ต
.....a nice change from the usual fairytale/creepy storylines.
The graphics are gorgeous, the atmosphere and voice acting are great and the music fits perfectly. There are lots of varied mini games of mixed difficulty and there's easy travel via map with lots of interesting collectables.
Only 4 stars as, for me personally, there are far too many HOS - they are beautiful to look at but are mostly lists with a few morphing objects.
