A great tool for teachers and parents
ChildFolio is a wonderful tool to share with parents as to what the children are participating in. It documents the skills they are actively learning in their classrooms. Most importantly it captures the social skills and friends that they are playing with.TAWA5/6

I love using the ChildFolio app! As a teacher, I can quickly check off assessments on each child and mark their progress throughout the school year. Parents get pictures to document what we see in the classroom. A win for everyone!tchrtawa

Alignment issues
The app does not align itself with my states early learning standards. After calling the company for help I received no response after leaving multiple messages. MotherGoosetime did respond by saying they will be charging for the app one all the loose ends are fixed. Also we would like to let the app transition students from one classroom to the next each year to have 2-3 years of data saved.Show lesslisprts
Do the developers know what they’re doing?
I have no clue how this is still used in schools. The app requires multiple refreshes before any of my ratings or moments appear. This is. It user friendly at all. I have to use the app to archive my class then I can only add students using the web page and then have to go back to he app to set the rating period. I’m wondering if the people who develop this app ever test it out themselves. I was hoping this would help me as a teacher but it o it makes my job that much harder.
