First let me explain that this game, blew me away the first 600 times I played it on PC. I love how unforgiving it is, I love the sound track and especially enjoyed how mentally challenging it is. Which is why it breaks my heart to write this. The game itself feels undercooked, there’s a million stories that can flushed out on NEO Scavenger and someone could spend lifetimes in it. Which is why on PC the mods are a great fill for that gap and totally pull the thorn out of your brain and truly immerse yourself to the point you actually care that Philip K. gets his memory back, or enjoys a Cadillac burger at the red gnome vs foraging for mushrooms and berries. However I have to give this 2 stars for the inability to have a modding community on iOS, the actual game is very short and yes you can have some adventures but there are only a few areas to explore, and a few that can be ignored altogether and poof your done. If there is a way to mod this on iOS please let me know and I’ll eat my hat while I gladly give this 5 stars and beg the developer to work on N.E.O. Scavenger Part 2.

  • Great game

Once you get a hang of the controls and inventory it is a fantastic game. I personally would recommend nerfing botany skill a little but other than that it is very enjoyable
  • Great game but a problem

I love the game a lot but I recently have a problem where I can’t access a save after I progress to a certain point in the game
  • Its fun

I would like to play the full game, but i am unable to find it on the app store
  • Ford with a e

Ui takes 20 minutes to get but it is the same game you know and love x
  • Nice port

Played this a whole lot on PC, and whilst the UI interaction is a bit mor clunky on iOS (and perhaps with a little thought it could be done better), the game it still as absorbing and simplistically brilliant
  • No fun allowed

Scavenge all you want, it won’t matter. Too many cheap shots and instant game overs for it to be any fun. Pass on this one in favour of something else.
  • Broken menus.

Played the free version for a couple of hours to get a feel for it, then decided to get the full version so I could save... but the “Full Version” button on the main menu simply refused to work. I tried everything I could think of, but ultimately had to close the game and lose my save before the button became functional again. I’m holding off on the purchase for a while, but it’s pretty fun.

  • Bad mobile port

I love this game on PC, but this game is just frustrating on mobile. Moving and interacting with items, which is a pretty big part of the game, takes forever, and is very inconsistent. The quick bar at the top right is basically useless, as it takes so much time to open it, scroll through the option you need, that it would have taken you less time than if you had just used the context menu. The only thing the dev did to accommodate mobile users is add a zoom feature, which I feel could zoom a little more. Everything in this game takes about 3 times longer than on PC.

  • Cool lo-tech game

Great gameplay mechanics. UI is dated and a little frustrating, but there is a good sense of dread and importance is tied to every action.
