Good concept…bad delivery
I purchased three bottles of wine to try this service out. The auction process was fun and easy to use. That’s where the the fun ended. There is no refrigerated shipment option, so you need to sign a waiver so your wine can cook in a delivery truck. Then only two of three bottles arrived and one was clearly leaking.

Wines are priced high and they only ship FedEx
Not really an auction site, they price wines at retail and you can buy them through the auction. Auctions typically receive no other bids. Which is okay. My real complaint is they ship using FedEx, the worse service for fine wines. UPS is much better, at least in Colorado. Fees plus taxes add about 25% to the price.Show lessDKinnyc
They don’t actually have the wine pictured stay away
Purchased a 2004 Leoville Las cases on their site they sent me a completely different bottle of wine and now tell me they never had the correct bottle that was pictured on their website and they offered me the ability to keep the one they sent me for full price or they will send me a shipping label and hold my funds until I return the other one. The customer service rep made me feel like it was my fault somehow and they don’t need to take any responsibility for their screw ups. Never again.Show lessnatalielmu

More like Customer Diservice. They damaged my bottles in transit and say the damage was due to weather. The box and packing was destroyed. I prefer to source my wine where there is integrity and accountability which sadly is not going to be Wine Bid.RWARP
Terrible service, shipping was atrocious.
Twice I’ve order wine from them. Expensive ones, and twice they didn’t take care when shipping the wine. Their customer service is terrible, and they don’t care about your experience.madwineguy
Dishonest Company or Buggy Platform
A day after placing a bid on two bottles of a wine that had a particularly attractive starting bid amount, I found that my bids had disappeared and the starting bid amount had nearly doubled. On contacting customer service, they claimed I had never placed the bids in the first place. This indicates two possibilities: their platform is unreliable or they are dishonest.
