Version History of The Founders' Bible

4.18.2

November 12, 2024

Bug Fixes: - Spaces added or missing after apostrophes and right single quotes. - Wildcard characters in searches weren't working. - Updated the User's Guide to document searches more thoroughly. Previous documentation didn't mention the legacy pattern-based or "wildcard" searching feature. - Link previews in note viewer could not be dismissed, or, when dismissed on iPhone, would close the note editor.

FIXES - Links to illustrated articles could fail. - Text could be copied to the clipboard with old format identifiers, causing it not to be decoded properly by the receiving app. - Punctuation in selected or entered text could interfere with search and look-up functions. - In certain Bibles, the space after a trailing apostrophe was missing. - Searches for phrases starting with words that do not occur in the text would return results as if the words were not included in the phrase. - Text could scroll to a random location when the height of the text window changed (primarily from showing/hiding the toolbox in the iPad version). - Fixed some verse mapping issues for apocryphal books.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. This update addresses a number of minor bugs and user interface appearance issues. • Addressed a problem with notes being truncated when switching from Edit to View modes. • Links that were split across two lines did not work correctly. • Resolved a couple problems related to managing the download of newly purchased books and updates to books that are already installed on the device. • Closing books from the Library manager did not cause the list of books to be reloaded, so the book appeared to remain open after it was closed. • Fixed a user interface issue where the download progress bar overwrote the book status in the Library manager. • Fixed a user interface issue related to data entry fields being covered by the keyboard.

New Features: • New Home button makes it easier to quickly get to Founders' Bible resources. • New Library manager replaces both "Open Book" and "Add/Remove Books" features to allow easy management of your installed Bibles and books. • Added a setting to disable auto-lock when the device is idle. Keeps the device from turning itself off while you're reading but not interacting with the app. Enhancements: • Added a "Founders' Bible" category to Library manager to make it easier to find the Founders' NASB and Founders' Articles books. • Added a book count at the bottom of the Library manager book list. • Adjusted line spacing in search results to get more text in the excerpt. • Save navigation history on exit so that "Back" and "Forward" continue to work across sessions. • After registering, go to the Home page instead of Cloud Library. • Made the iPad book title bars in the default color scheme the same size as they are in other color schemes, and changed the text colors used for devotional titles in that scheme to be more readable. Fixes: • Fixed some dialogs that were too big to fit and buttons that became too small on smaller devices. • Expanded the effective area of touches to make it easier to tap small links in the text, like the asterisks that link to translators' notes in the Bible. • Fixed a problem with "textured backgrounds" where they wouldn't work if enabled the very first time the program was launched. • Updated and made corrections to the books that come bundled with the app.

Price History of The Founders' Bible

Description of The Founders' Bible

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” – John Adams THE HISTORY YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TAUGHT The Founders’ Bible Digital App is not only a robust Bible study app with multiple Bible translations available, but it also contains the history that you have never been taught in school; that was sadly, intentionally removed. It also contains some of the most inspiring truth that will shed a significant amount of light and wisdom on the major issues facing us today, and what we can and must do. What we have included in The Founders’ Bible Digital App (Free Version) is what we believe are some of the “best of the best” articles, the most relevant, the essentials list, an emergency action pack of what you need to know … about the country, how it was meant to work, the history that brought us here, the purpose and passion behind it all, the incredible power of God’s Word and how it has shaped this nation more than anything else. MODERN DAY GENEVA BIBLE With over 1000+ pages of culturally relevant articles, insightful Biblical commentary, and some of the most inspiring history, The Founders’ Bible tells the epic saga of our true, forgotten history and the deep spiritual heritage behind the founding of America. The subjects covered by the articles inserted throughout help to ask and answer some of the most important questions today, wrestling with the most relevant issues facing our culture, providing insight from those who helped architect the foundations of this great nation, as well as apply timeless truth and wisdom from the Scripture. For many, The Founder’ Bible could be likened to “a modern day Geneva Bible for this generation.” It is your history, foundations of government, and the Bible all integrated into one amazing resource. SIGNATURE HISTORIAN The Founders’ Bible is signature historian David Barton’s most significant life’s work. He is one of the premiere constitutional historians of our day with a private library containing over 100,000 original source documents from the Founding Era, one of the largest private collections in the nation. His exhaustive research has rendered him an expert in historical and constitutional issues, serving as a consultant to state and federal legislators, participating in several cases at the Supreme Court, involved in the development of the History/Social Studies standards for numerous states, and helping to produce history textbooks now used in schools across the nation. David is listed by Time Magazine as one of, “The 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America.” Accordingly, he has been described as “America’s historian.” ARTWORK IN FULL ILLUSTRATION MODE If a picture can say a thousand words, the artwork throughout speaks volumes—allowing the history and content to come to life conveying a sense of the look and feel, the emotions of the unfolding drama. Each one of the articles has been beautifully designed throughout, featuring original artwork by master illustrator and oil painter, C. Michael Dudash, along with hundreds of other historical paintings and sketches. OFFLINE BIBLE STUDY Read and study whether you’re connected or not. Your library, notes, highlights and all of the app features are stored on your device so that you have full functionality when you are offline or in airplane mode. CLOUD SYNC Sync your Bible study resources, highlights, notes, etc. between all your devices. SIDE-BY-SIDE STUDY The split window feature allows you to create your own customized parallel Bible for translation comparison or to have the Articles in one pane and the Bible in the other for quick reference. IMMERSIVE BIBLE STUDY The app has an extensive library of Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries and many other useful Bible Study resources along with a powerful suite of features and study tools.

Illustrated links are not working

After paying for full edition this is disappointing

Response from developer

This has been fixed through a combination of app update and changes at the server. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Amazing Resource!

I have both the app and physical version and am enjoying them greatly! The free version of the app (I do not have paid version) is slightly difficult to navigate. The illustrated version of articles will not load on my device, unfortunately.

Update: I realize now that the article illustrations are not available on the fee version, so it is working correctly for this version. I have asked for the paid version as a Christmas gift, but will purchase it even if it is not gifted to me.
