The app has been re-done in a new coding language. You can now hear your vocals much clearer than before. The quality of the recordings is much better. The app works with all kinds of headphones now whilst before there may have been some issues with bluetooth devices. Happy songwriting!

I've actually fixed the delay now by reducing the buffer size. DUH! It took me producing my own music to learn that useful piece of information. I'll be updating as I improve the app in the next few weeks. More effects and music to come. I've taken away the ads as well. If you like the app please consider purchasing the pro version.

One of the hardest aspects of making music is writing lyrics that fit well with a song. This is especially true if you don’t know how to make music. That’s where Study Beats comes in. With the free version of Study Beats you get 8 tracks that have already been made for you, each from one different genre. The only thing you have to do is create a song title and write or sing lyrics to the track of your choice. When you decide to record your voice over the backing tracks, you have the choice to use reverb and delay to get the best possible sound and with enough practice you’ll be writing fantastic songs in no time.
