These hearing aids are very important to me. The greatest asset is the ability to pair the hearing aids to my IPhone. I depend on this aspect. My hearing is such that when I am wearing them, though they are helpful, I have difficulty hearing people even in a conversation at a restaurant, etc. If there are four people at a table I can pretty much only hear clearly the voice of the person next to me. The hearing aids help and without them I would not be able to hear the spoken words of anyone at the table. Frustrating. But I appreciate the difference the hearing aids allow. To emphasize again…The ability to pair the hearing aids to my IPhone is a Godsend. I am glad I have these heating aids. They are very helpful all in all. I’m 78 years old. I’ve had resound for about nine years and the app has always been the gap in total product quality and user experience.
For starters, the app must be actively open on screen in order to connect to the HAs which makes the Apple Watch app useless because I cannot access HA control unless I have the app actively on screen on my phone.
I have to go to the Audiologist in order to adjust program settings and volume controls. I should be able to set which setting I want the HA to start with. Sometimes the white noise gets too loud and I cannot set it permanently, I’m required to make an appointment to changed the start up volume.
The app is unstable, I have the devices which transmit tv sounds through the HAs. I went in for a update and now I can’t connect to the tv sound. I called to get support from my audiologist and they said I need to contact resound, but every time I call I’m left on hold indefinitely until I hang up.Show lessDeveloper Response

The ReSound aids and app really improves my ability to hear better in many situations but it’s not perfect for every situation because of my severe hearing loss . I’m on my second set of ReSound hearing aids from the VA and they keep getting better and much better than the previous aids I have had over the past 30+ years. One problem with the app is that when Apple updates their software all it the custom settings I have set on the ReSound app except stream tv and micro Mike disappeared. This has happened several times. It is easy to reset them however. When I wrote ReSound to try to notify them of the problem they responded it was my fault not there’s. I give up on ReSound for them fixing the problem and will just reset the custom settings in the future.Show lessDeveloper Response
