Anatomy students: download this app now or you'll regret it! It doesn't even begin to compare to Grant's or Netter. You can see every step of the dissection on this app and the images are all high def so you can see every muscle, limb, etc. You should all be using thumbroll now!lala224562

This app is great as a refresher. I especially like that I can go through the procedures at my own speed. I definitely recommend this app if you want to understand the individual steps of a procedure.Emshemm

Thumbroll is an app that allows users to learn and review a variety of medical procedures at their own pace through the use of images. The images are high quality and each step has a written description below the image to make it even easier to follow along. I find this method easier to learn from than videos because I do not have to pause and play the video many times. I can “roll” through the images at my own pace and easily go back to a previous step. I am currently a 4th year Stony Brook medical student, and I must say that the modules on this app have greatly helped me throughout my classes and rotations. Sometimes we are asked to perform a procedure or skill on the wards that we are expected to have learned on our own, and going through the modules presented here has literally been a lifesaver for me. The app is also great for review for some of these skills that we haven’t performed in a while. I can’t wait for the application to add even more modules.
