Sketchy sales tactics
I love this game, I do. It’s fun, it’s challenging, a lot of it is luck. I don’t believe the people saying it’s rigged for you to lose, because there have been plenty of games I’ve lost because I made mistakes and plenty of games I’ve won because of the mistakes of my opponents. What I do not like or appreciate is this price gouging. This is the only app I make purchases on, and the more money you spend in game, the higher the prices get and the lower value your money actually has. I never see “deals” for 99 cents or 2 dollars anymore. For a long time it has been 8 bucks for a “deal” and today I received a deal claiming it was half off at 15 dollars (a supposed 30 dollar original price) for a bundle that some basic math and experience tells me is worth maybe $13 based on previous price tags. Play the game if you enjoy it, expect challenges and unfair matchups if you're using cheap boosters, but don’t give them your money or they will make you pay $15 for something you used to pay $4 for. Needs a lot of work to retain players.
As a avid gamer where I played this a lot a couple years ago and came back to it to see if there was any improvements and I’m disappointed. Match masters does definitely have an appeal to a vast audience with the variety of boosters and perks enabling a different gaming experience to all. However this game lacks the potential to keep gamers. They should implement a upgrade system to allow people to upgrade their bronze boosters in to silver and so on up-to diamond boosters. Also with many of the solo challenges difficultly being extremely high it puts me off trying any, knowing that I’ll just be losing a booster. Again having a difficultly choice for solo games where the higher the difficulty the higher the rewards should be in place. On a positive note the daily challenges are a great addition especially for people who want to grind out better boosters.
To summarise the reason for the 1 star is because the game is too money driven focused. And therefore overtime when people are tired spending their hard earned money they will end up just deleting the game. Not much is done to keep players. And a complete new strategy is needed to not just keep this game alive but thrive. I know you have had many comments moaning about the pay to win system and those comments can be considered but there is a solution where players who want to spend money and those who don’t can still enjoy the game.Show lessBk9lucas

I absolutely love this game however now that I’m at a higher level I get matched with higher boosters it’s almost always impossible to win, you guys need to make an update where the app would automatically match you with either the same booster or similar ones but getting match to the octopus and I only have a duck I knew I was a gonner the min the game started I knew I was gonna lose, I saw someone else’s review from a year ago complaining about the same thing and nothing was done and I think this is an important issues for most players as when I have a higher booster my opponent automatically raises their flag and proceeds to quit the game it’s almost hard to find a game with higher boosters and I’ve been very hesitant to open the app and play so please fix this issues I’d hate to stop playing your game I do really love itShow lessnadzz99999
Use to be good, game owners got greedy
They made some major changes a few months ago, they have made it impossible to achieve completing albums with out spending money. We have a whole team who feel the same, this game isn’t about winning, it’s about spending money to win.. Boo MMHaybau

I’m 50/50 with this app. While the concept is engaging and fun, there are several issues with the gameplay. You’ll notice that once you get into any rhythm, your timer runs out a bit faster than usual while your opponent has what seems like all the time in the world in comparison to your time per round. Also, you can be ahead by well over 100+ points, and in a single round your opponents points will fly past yours with a lightning special clearing the board. Often than not, your unevenly matched with AI opponents and against outrageous boosters that skyrocket your points, taking the skill away from the game entirely. The tournaments are no better. You may win just a few rounds but this is a rigged app, and odds are always stacked against you. I’ve deleted the app a few times due to these issues. The original version was better, but since the frequent updates to add the drastically overpowered unnecessary boosters, and frequent point glitches it’s not worth playing. Unless you intend to spend spend spend, which is the ploy behind the setup of the design and gameplay, it’s not worth the download.Show lessgammerelite

Like before i will add this great game BUT my turns cut short my boosters disappear without used opponent has extra turns really i keep count and it really happens i just finished a game round two used my booster had one turn only ONE and my turns were over ?????????? Also just happen now opponent time finished with one turn left and had two turns after clock finished Again i love the game although way to many (what just happened) questions EDIT just had timer on my watch and woooow when opponent correct my time somewhat different FASTER sometimes hehehe anyway ENJOYShow lessSrb022

I started playing this game through the ‘Tester Up’ app, as it was the first one featured after I first opened the app. Anyway, at first it seems like a slow moving game just matching up 3 or more like shapes. However, after you pass through the first part, then the real fun begins, and you play against an opponent. It’s competitive but also I’ve noticed that sometimes I think the board is set up in favor of one player over another, which doesn’t mean you don’t get to win the match, as sometimes it’s in your favor. However, I just had the most fun and excitement with my last match, as I won by 1 point. There are purchases within the game for extra boosts as such, I don’t pay too much attention to them and so far I’ve done really well not making any purchases. My budget is strict, hence playing games through Tester Up to earn money. And you can move up pretty quickly playing this game as you don’t even realize how much you are moving up because it’s so fun. Even when I lose a match, I immediately play another round. I like the animal characters in the game, the are drawn and animated as to have a personality. The colors are bright and vibrant and all around, I have to say this is a really enjoyable game! Not bad, no interruptive ads
It’s fun and challenging, however as some others have mentioned there are moments where matches are disproportionately unfair. Whether I’m actually playing against other users or not I’m unsure, but if they are real people and are paying players with all the best boosts equipped they shouldn’t be paired with someone who isn’t buying extras. Some matches are just not even worth trying with when the opponents can clear the grid with their boosts and then continue to play their two moves before your turn. I am never giving my money to these kinds of games and only play them very occasionally. As this is one of the only ones I’ve found that doesn’t bombard me with ads and make play impossible, it would be really nice if I could play with a decent amount of challenge and NOT be completely obliterated before I’ve even had chance to play my own moves. There should be an easy, medium and hard mode option or something.Show less2yvn

Good to start with but every update sees the game swing more in favour of the game easy to see if you can win or lose a match usually after the opponents first move you know that you have no chance opponents by the way are mainly at a guess 90% not other human players you notice this by the speed of the opponents game play says your matched versus similar opponents and boosters that’s an absolute lie maybe 1in3 games I have had this game over two years and sadly deleted no longer routinely enjoyable just losing game after game and climbing ranks and earning stickers and rewards is become near impossible I have used hundreds of boosters 1.2.3 leveled diamond se boosters and godknows how many perks yet fail to get close to winning Rumbles and as for tournament s joke can’t remember winning one despite playing with high boosters every day I have 5daughters who all play and some have stopped citing the same reasons was a good 5star game at one time now just a run of the mill game after your dollar cheating and misleading in its nature full of CPU BOTS who can divorce say are opponents real yes REAL human opponents. in my opinion can divorce are scammers read other reviews people I’m NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON A FRAUDULENT GAME don’t bother complaining you get the same garbage from thecandivore staff handbook replies which are a waste of time and insinuate we’re all morons.Show lessTHEE BOGEY MONSTER

When I first saw the game on an ad not gonna lie it looked a bit… meh, but when I finally decided to get the game I kinda liked it actually I loved it, but the thing I kinda saw was the way the ad said it was “online” it 100% isn’t, in the game your playing against bots because I have 2 devices and they both have this game on it so when 1 device is charging/dead I can go on the other anyway I went on the game a day after on my tablet and I’m writing the review on my tablet to, they have the same names and the same outfit!!! So the ad was kinda a lie. And another thing the bots make it WAYYY harder to play, and you are always blue stars and there’s always more red circles than the blue stars, but apart from that it’s an AMAZING game, I know I said a lot of “bad” things but it was just my opinion that the ad was kinda a scam and that you should just change the ad but that’s it the rest of the game is amazing like I said but yeah.Show lessIsaboot 100
