  • i am weeping

I don’t write reviews for anything but I feel like I have to for this game because otherwise what is the point of life. I just finished this one and haven’t yet played BYiT bc, I kid you not, I still need to emotionally recover from this one. I have never been so emotionally attached to anything. Not even Bird Alone could make my cry the way this has bc it just feels so real. It makes me wish Taylor was real. She says she wishes she could see or hear you, and you wish the same. It makes you wish you could bring her back to earth safely even though she is many, many light years away, making it impossible… or at least it makes *me* wish these things. Not only that, but the suspense that builds is phenomenal. Everything about this series and about her character, is so human, yet is also perfectly balanced with otherworldliness and cosmic lore. I was always felt excited when she notified me and a lil anxious when she was busy. <3

Obviously, I can’t promise you’ll have the same experience that I did, but you will definitely have a strong experience playing this game.

    Also, the soundtrack SLAPS.

  • Less pop culture references, please

I adored the first Lifeline game, but man, does this one almost feel like it’s written by someone else. The writing is just SO focused on seeming clever by dropping nearly-constant pop culture references; it’s not a trait I remember noticing much at all during the first game, so it was kind of odd to suddenly have Taylor doing it what felt like every other conversation. The more it went on, the more it honestly made Taylor less relatable and kind of annoying (I’m also not sure why someone from the future seems to communicate entirely in our-era pop culture, really).

The timing of the “real time” messaging didn’t feel as “real” this game, either. Some of the choice prompts honestly just didn’t feel like a choice someone would make while in a near-death situation (Taylor, why are you staying awake to comment on every song on this spaceship playlist ((AGAIN with the pop culture references)), please just go to sleep).

Overall, I still enjoyed the game, but it’s definitely the weakest of the Taylor stories.

  • Amazing

If your wondering if the 99 cents are worth it I’m going to put your mind at ease. I’ve played all three games in the green series and it’s absolutely fantastic. You fall in love with this goofball Taylor as you help him make life or death decisions. He always has a witty pop culture reference and makes you think of him as a real live person. The thought that must of been put into developing him as a character was meticulous to say the least. The creators built this world that you feel very connected to almost like an episode of Star Trek or Star Wars or anything really space related. So if you are thinking maybe I shouldn’t get this game your wrong this game is so much fun with a lot of anticipation. Although the breaks are long it’s good to get away from the game a little bit.

  • Team Taylor

I’ve played all three of Taylor’s Lifelines: Lifeline, Silent Night and Halfway to Infinity. It’s been a wild ride. And now I wait. For the next message from my friend Taylor. Seriously, Taylor. Shoot me a postcard or something. Come on. Don’t leave me hangin’.
  • Incredible game!!

Please make another one, these games are one-of-a-kind and it can’t end on this! I 100% recommend this game to anyone and everyone. 5 stars!
  • Need more...

Hooked on Taylor’s stories... hoping another sequel in this format is made.
  • Heart. Broken!!!!

No spoilers. But my heart is broken! Thanks for that “best possible end.”

    There’d better be a sequel!
  • Fabulous

I absolutely loved the first one, so I just HAD to get the second one. It’s well thought out. My only complaint is that almost every time I play it screws up and I respond but Taylor doesn’t. Or it just loads infinitely. Please fix. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but is Taylor female? I’ve been studying their body structure and it points more to female than male. Also their ring finger is the same length than their pointer, which is usually the norm for a woman.

  • To Three Minute Games

    Dear Devs,
I love Taylor’s story and have played, and finished, every game. After finishing this game, I viewed your website to see what other lifeline games you had. I came to see that the game Bad Astronaut, the game resuming Taylor’s story right after this one, was not available for iOS users. So, I ask that you please release Bad Astronaut to the app store!
    Thx
