Ridgecrest Dothan

Developed and serviced by Lightcast.com Ridgecrest Baptist Church began as a vision in the hearts of the Mission's Committee of Dothan's First Baptist Church. In 1951, RBC began when a prayer meeting was conducted in the home of James and Mary Morrison. The first meeting place for Bible Study and Worship was in a store building on South Cherokee Avenue and by 1953, the first service was held in a new building on Fortner Street. And The Lord continues to bless! If you are looking for a family to belong to then you've found the right place. Ridgecrest is a large family made up of people from all different walks of life that have come together to worship and serve Jesus Christ. We often hear people say that even though RBC is large, once you get involved, it has that small church atmosphere. Which means people and relationships are very important to us! From single to seniors, toddlers to teenagers, Ridgecrest has something for everyone. We are committed to reaching those in our community and around the world that are not connected to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. But that's not enough. We work diligently to build up the individual and the family in order to send them out to serve and expand the kingdom of God. We offer ministries for every age group and each ministry offers exciting opportunities for you.
