Could be more inclusive. When an item isn’t listed, there isn’t a way to “tick off” components to assist with making a choice. Instead a request is put in to add to the listing. Whether that is actually done, who knows
Edmonton NEEDS a blue bin. When I asked about it to my city councillor I was told that the cost of repurposing the garbage trucks was not feasible. No mention was made of the cost of injuries to the men who jump on and off the trucks many many times a day to pick up the blue bags. Space in a garage likely isn’t an issue as a frame to hold the blue bags open occupies a just slightly larger amount of space.
Calgary has blue bins, Regina (I know not in Alberta) has blue bins, why not Edmonton. Back in the rollout of the bins, post Covid, I spoke with a 311 rep and was told that 3 colours of bins would be “too confusing, too complicated”. Really!!Show lessNemm55

The app made my life easier - I get alert every week as a reminder for the garbage collection - no need to worry about the garbage day. Also, it provides good information about the garbage disposal details. 👍👍👍john.211
