Leave a Review Fishing App
Could be better
I have been using the app for a few months. I like the fact I can track my fishing trip. I upgraded to “Pro”. Unfortunately I can’t get any of the features to work. When I switch to any map other than the standard or add wind speed or weather the map just turns white. I’ve tried to contact ANGLR through their support, but that’s not working (looks like someone at the company forgot to pay their bill). I recently tried to visit the website and says “page can’t be found”. If the basic stuff that I paid for would work it would be nice. I would also like to be able to search for lakes/rivers through the app so I can research before tournaments. I tried contacting Anglr though instagram (no answer). Not surprised. Unless something changes quickly, I will be looking for a new app.Show lessHas potential
I like the app for what it was originally created for. Used it all the time but now it has become such a pain to the point that I will cancel my subscription and uninstall the app.
Pros:
Ease of use and the Apple Watch integration was a nice touch and makes it so much easier to use without having to pull out your phone while on the water kayaking. Great for logging your catches and where you caught them.
Cons:
Constantly keeps crashing. Every time I open it to start a trip it crashes. Select your gear.. it crashes. Try to start a trip with your watch… crashes or won’t even do it at all. Finally when you start the trip after numerous attempts it would either crash mid way or it won’t stop recording your trip even after you stop it on the phone or the watch.
Please fix the bugs and add the feature to at least edit the trip distance so it’s only tracking the time on the water.Show lessGoing out of business
Going out of business/not in business is the only logical conclusion I can come to when it comes to Anglr. So do not sign up for the pro subscription and do not try to use the Bullseye device. When I sent an email to customer service about my Bullseye being shipped to the wrong address I never got a response. When the Bullseye did arrive, thanks to USPS having my forwarding address, it was DOA. And when I sent an email to Anglr about to Bullseye being bad I never got a response. When I emailed Anglr about the bathymetry charts not working on the app I never got a response. And when I sent an email asking for a refund due to the poor app quality and Bullseye not working, I never got a response. And I feel it is unlikely Anglr will respond to this review. So I will never use Anglr again and will instead use the far superior FishBrain.Show less
