  • App is just ok

    The app is ok but not great. The search function doesn’t work on my iPad, so if I want to order from a specific restaurant, I have to scroll through everything to try to find it. It would be nice if I could enter the name go straight to the place I want to order from.
  • App UI ignores taps in some important cases

    Tapping on a menu item produces no response, which makes ordering in a straightforward way impossible. However, typing the name of the item into search, and then tapping the result does bring up the screen to customize the order, and the item can then be added the cart.

  • Let go for other’s negligence!

    Worked 7 days a week and gave more then 12 hrs a day to being a delivery driver and dispatch manager only to be let go one morning with no warning!! I did not do anything but because of others supposedly doing wrong everyone was let go. I feel that was very unprofessional and obviously this company doesn’t care about its workers!!

  • Delivery not available

    After placing an order for delivery, we get a notice saying delivery is not available at this time. It doesn’t matter which restaurant we try all of them say the same thing. We called one of the restaurants tonight and they said that people are picking up food for delivery from Selflane but for some reason it’s not allowing us to place a delivery order.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. We’re not offering delivery at the moment. We’re working on an alternative solution though.
  • Needs improvement

    UPDATE. TOTALLY UNABLE TO USE. WHAT IS WRON WITH THE SYSTEM.? I like being able to order local but recent changes have me ready to give up. No longer able to put in delivery instructions and order ends up being cold by the time driver finds us. Used to use this all the time but unfortunately having to use national apps with better information. Update the app is not working. Is Selflane going out of business.

Definitely set to win you back to our service again. Update to the reply. Hi there, we have stopped the delivery service at the moment. Sorry we have run into many issues in deliveries. You probably have seen this as a general issues across different delivery options in the market. We are trying to come up with an alternative though. But the challenge of providing high quality delivery services will continue to arise. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Update. Just noticed now there is additional fee charged under tax. I have not been able to find where they add that or how much it is suppose to be. But Service fee, delivery fee, tip, and distance fee on almost every order. Used to be better. Now it seems greedy.

    Distance surcharge is way to high. Ended up using other del service to avoid the surcharge. You also dont see this surcharge until checkout Example: $2.99 delivery fee $7.50 distance fee. 8.1 miles away. Then tip for driver. Search feature needs categories Need order status. Currently only receive email if order picked up. Frequent user. Would like to be able to use it beyond the

    Thanks for the feedback. We will work more on the search functions. Indeed, as we are now covering more and more restaurants in the city, we do need a much better system to help you navigate the options. We do not charge any commission to restaurants, so they list menu with their true prices. We do have to charge a delivery fee to customer and send that to the drivers. That fee could add up when you are ordering from a restaurant that is relatively far. Most of the time you would find the cost on Selflane is much lower than the other platform because the true menu prices.
  • Lead time on pickup order

    I wanted to have someone pick up an order on the way home from work

    So I installed the Selflane app on my iPhone, and used my Apple ID to sign on.

    I searched and found the restaurant I want to place the order can you do the shopping cart

    And on submit it comes up with some kind of comment about a lead time?

    I didn’t notice the payment line being distracted by that information, so then went and installed the payment options, and tried to submit again, with the same message, by the time the person was already on the way to pick up the food and I hadn’t even been able to place the order yet; so, I quickly looked up the phone number of the restaurant. I called and tried to explain that South Lane app wasn’t working right for me and I had to give them my order on the phone, despite the huge amount of background noise, and almost yelling at them, because they could not hear me so well.

    Needless to say my introduction was not very smooth to your app

  • Add ‘favorite food choices’ section

    I would like to see a ‘favorite food choice’ added, so when I need to quickly order, I can click it!

  • Horrible!! Took over 2 hours to get my food and it was cold!!

    It took almost 3 hours to get my food. It wouldn’t let me contact or cancel my order. I paid $60 for cold food!! Never again.
