Clunky, slow, and not optimized for mobile/fieldwork
The software developers promised this software would improve productivity by being streamlined and linear, but it ends up being a convoluted mess that takes forever to navigate and is as slow as molasses to upload or receive work orders. EAM also breaks if you change or modify identifiers outside of your job description, but you have no idea what falls outside of your job description because they don’t block you from making those changes. Overall, I highly suggest you convince your place of employment to NOT go with this software as it will cause unnecessary headaches for everyone involved.

Newest version of checklist is horrible
My general opinion of this app is that it works. However, managing the changes the company pushes out as improvements is very challenging. One of the most recent challenges it the implementation of the checklist on mobile. It is not intuitive. It is like Infor does not have a usability person on staff. They went from a checklist that was straightforward for our craft personnel to understand to a very confusing nonintuitive interface. Does infor even test this app before releasing. Many versions I have found obvious bugs minutes after using.
We use it because we are invested in it. If thing don’t improve we may look at writing our own mobile app.

County Parks inspection
We use the mobile application to inspect the playgrounds. The task plan was configured with the checklist and the follow up work orders are created when needed. So far this application has significantly streamlined and simplified the process for our park inspections.
Horribly unreliable app
This App, when working properly, is great. However, we have had a High priority Incident open with Infor for over 6 months because of this issue and still no resolution. The App continues to error out while trying to synchronize. They still don’t know what the cause is. If you have Infor EAM and are considering the GIS Integration, don’t do it for the Mobile Service Transit App. You will be disappointed.

Very BUGGY
Don’t ever bother doing an update. It just breaks it and the only way to fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Also sync errors are common and it never tells you why. It’ll try to sync sometimes with NO ERROR message and it will continue to show that there are items to be synced and it never will. Uninstalling and re-installing seems to be the only way to clear it.
