Not bad at all

A little glitchy but overall a good game

Worth it

It kept me interested

A really great game

This is a really long game and bonus as well, now that Big Fish have stopped making games for the iPad I am looking for ones to finish the set and this was the last one I hadn’t played and was on offer for £2.99, the hos were assorted and the puzzles were available on easy or hard mode which was a great idea, the map was brilliant showing the exact location of the next move. I am now having to look for previous games I have bought, although I do have a lot, really annoyed though.

User interface sometimes glitchy

On iPad pro 12.9 sometimes had trouble with input, such as trying to get a briefcase code right at the beginning to switch to the right symbols. This doesn’t happen often, but I needed to skip a couple of things I really didn’t want to. I also found myself accidentally skipping a couple of puzzles when I just wanted a hint. That may be my fault but it’s something worth being wary of when playing.

On the other hand, if you’re one of those people for whom the puzzles and occasional hidden object sections (and they are only occasional thankfully, they don’t dominate the gameplay by any means, and the puzzles are varied) are just an excuse to waste some time in an absorbing story with some pretty, picturesque scenery and pleasant music, then this game is perfect for you.

It’s BIG, too. No ‘two-to-four-hours-and-it’s-over’ here, on a lazy day off this game took me the whole day to get through. So if you just play it for an hour or so every night it should last you the week or more.

Overall then, despite the price tag and a few hiccups, it’s good value. You can see where the work went, and it lasts. It’s very pleasant to play.

Annoying Puzzles

When I find myself looking forward to HO scenes, rather than the puzzles, something is wrong. Puzzles with no logical clues are a waste of my time, particularly those whose parts when moved may also impact movement of others already placed correctly. Several other puzzles require that we repeat patterns until we happen onto the correct one, all the while remembering the 8 steps before or the entire puzzle will reset.

The story is great and the pacing is right until I hit the mood breaker puzzles that exist only to prolong time spent in the game, not time spent enjoying the game, mind you. Video cut scenes are blurry, but I do enjoy them as they provide a nice break. Colors are vibrant, characters are interesting and provide a touch of humor to the adventure. Option for M3 on HO scenes, collectibles, and a transporting map: all good.

But for those guessing puzzles, this is a 4.5-star game for me.

Good game

Lots of puzzles and hops, good graphics and story. Collectibles and bonus adventure, a couple of the puzzles were hard to figure out, but generally a good game, nice and long, a good buy.

Great!

Excellent! Loved the length of the game. Worth the $

Great Game: Stonehenge

I truly enjoyed this game! The characters were unique and interesting. I was pleasantly surprised regarding the multiple locations to investigate. It's very hard to put this game aside.

Great game

Complex, plus nice and long.

Patn

Pretty good game, lovely graphics and storyline quite good. Nice long gameplay, but some scenes rather dark, with objects hard to find. Also slightly jerky sometimes. Worth the deal price.
