Light Questions for Deep Conversations!
My husband and I use this app to start deep conversations. Sometimes we’ll use it at home, but we mostly use it at restaurants during date night while we wait to be seated and/or while we’re waiting for our meals. The questions are fun and lighthearted, but they spark meaningful conversation. It’s also awesome in group settings to break the ice or get to know someone better. Great for teachers!!
I used many of these as part of my warm-ups in my middle school classroom - my students would see it on the board when they came into the room and I would chat them about their answers before the bell rang. It fostered the BEST sense of community among my students and gave me a way to get to know individual kids! I used to think of my own “get to know you” questions but it was much easier once I got the app. I could see it working well for creating a good culture in other workplace environments, and obviously it’s tons of fun with friends too!
