Does not work on iOS
I recent test of iPhone 7, 8, and X reveal that the app fails to properly connect and control the Yi360 camera over WiFi. On Android, it works fine. I filed a support ticket into YiTechnology and they seem unaware of the problem. Yet, they still fail to acknowledge nor fix the issue for iOS.
Please release a working update. Insta360 One X now has 5.7k and they provide working updates. You are seriously loosing any market share in the 360VR industry at the rate you are providing fixes to your software and hardware.Show lesssteve.huang

acquiring preview failed
I have the same “acquiring preview failed” problem on iphoneX. It works ok on my iphone 7. Both have the same ios and app version. This bug makes the camera very hard to use. The only way to record is by using the analog buttons of the camera. There is no way to check what you will record in real time nor to take a picture remotely.Show lessjuan marco23
iPhone 8 Trouble?
Unfortunately the live preview functionality for photos and video is not working with my iPhone 8+. I get a generic error of "Acquiring preview failed". I can at least fetch already taken photos and video, but this means I can't use my phone as remote or for changing settings. I have upgraded to latest 1.1.53 firmware and tried with both 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi.Show lessrich90usa
