Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom by LynxMinx
I sure did enjoy reading your review, KimTwilight! You are one of the best reviewers out there, and I am so glad that you really flesh out your thoughts and ideas, with amazing syntax, incredible vocabulary and perfect grammar. You have got to be an English professor! I always appreciate the input that you give to the DTE. You, Dracyy and Izzyoc are real gems! I just wish we could force BigFish to ensure that ERS does an update for Puppet Show! Do you know how many times I have emailed them?
On to the game! I agree with everything KimTwilight said in her review. This was a good game for the price, with a lot of the accoutrements we like. You could customize settings. The graphics were beautiful. They weren't as detailed as what you would get from EIPIX or Mad Head, but they were definitely decent. The storyline was easy to follow, although there was no journal. You could tell that English was not the first language of this developer, but the grammar and syntax were understandable. Objectives were regularly updated. At each location you must find a kestrel symbol; for what purpose it is unclear. The game was not that long and didn't have a bonus adventure, but for $2.99 it was fine. Inventory was labeled but not interactive and there were no complex items to assemble. There was an excellent teleport map, marked if so customized. The game was not heavy on the HO scenes, and they did have some variation. The puzzles might have been simplistic, but sometimes it feels good to just give your brain a rest and have fun playing a game. It was enjoyable to create alchemical mixtures and then apply them and see what magical event would occur. There was a boring rotational mini-game to transmute the potions and I didn't of course like it but I did it anyway. The game ran very smoothly and there were no glitches or fatal flaws.
All in all, I really enjoyed playing. My true rating is 4.5 stars. I am only deducting a half star for length. I would have loved a bonus adventure. I hope there is a sequel. Oh yes, and there were NO RATS, always a huge plus in my book, no pun intended (for those of you who don't understand, a grimoire is a book of alchemical recipes)! Lynxie sends 💋❤️😘 to her intrepid, brilliant DTE!

Artifex mundi games
Always the best!
Looove it
Love it! This game is great and adddicting (:
Well done 👍🏼
Thank you Artifex for functional games, reasonable pricing, and for publishing without Big Fish. This one was short and predictable, but entertaining and worth a play at the $2.99 sale price.
Nice game 💕
Wasn't sure about this game but once I got into it I really enjoyed it . Interesting storyline, lovely artwork, not too many HOS and a good mix of puzzles (easy/a bit more tricky) which kept the game flowing nicely. I enjoyed making the alchemical potions and there's a good map to speed you on your journey where you can find collectables.
Only 4 stars as it's quite a short game with no bonus chapter and I had to turn the annoying, repetitive music off. Overall a nice relaxing game which was worth the £2.29 I paid on sale.

Lost Grimores
Very well done. Great change from the many other creepy games and well worth the price. I will be trying their other games.
Love it!
Artifex Mundi does it again, this is a great game. Interesting storyline, wonderful graphics, fun mini-games. No problems or glitches, unlike some of the other games I've played lately. I especially like gathering ingredients to make potions in the alchemy lab. Well worth the $2.99 price.
Grimoires perdus
