You’ll love this app. Only drawback for me is, no way to correct an error. As in, to visit and visited. If the app was used at a location it should show up as visited. Or have a feature to correct discrepancies.

I love this app. I got to see my house from the early to mid 1900s. I got to see so many houses and stores that I didn’t even know existed or was recently renovated. I was sad that I couldn’t see my cousins house in NJ or my moms house in Brazil. I wish it had more to it like be a worldwide map of what it used to look like. But overall I LOVE it!!!

Excellent!
I can’t believe this app! It’s updated occasionally and just gets better with each one. I get lost in the stories, the photographs and the history. If you see someone wandering around the city, looking at buildings and imagining the history - that’s me. Don’t open up the app if you really have to get somewhere because - you won’t. You’ll be too busy checking out the spots along your destination. Excellent, top quality content, user friendly, and FREE!

This app goes above and beyond anything I’ve ever seen in an archival library. The details, the tours, the layout, UI, and the photo features are all so beautifully executed. A major round of applause to all involved in the constant updates and improvements. Every time I open this app I’m blown away by how great it is. How can you submit a nomination for app of the year? Anyone know? Urban Archive should be first in the running!

I’ve had this app for less than 24 hours but I can already say, as a New York City history enthusiast (who has lost many hours to NYPL archive wormholes) this app incorporates history into my everyday life in an easy, exciting manner, through its bountiful features. If you are someone who has ever stared at a historical photo for more than 10 seconds, download this app!

New layout = waaaay less content
The newer layout of the map caused many of the locations to disappear. There are a few places where I hang out that are completely gone. Bring back the purple dots. I loved watching them turn green as I visited places. I have introduced so many people to your app but now it’s just not as informative as it once was. And I’m contemplating deleting the app all together.
