Be careful

I did a month of tutor sessions and it just wasn't working for me. We tried to cancel and ended up having an unhappy man annoyed about it and tried telling us we joined a year subscription (which we didn't and made it clear) We also asked if your allowed to cancel whenever you want if it's not working out and they said yes.
So just a pre warning they will phone you and make out like your in the wrong if you cancel the sessions

Thy will extort money from you! Please Avoid!!!

Please avoid this tutoring company.
They will not cancel your subscription in timely fashion, they will ignore your emails; hey will forget to renew your credits on time despite charging you full price for them and you will have to chase them. You can’t cancel online, you have to reach out via email or WhatsApp and fill in ridiculous forms to have your contract cancelled. They are quick to charge you, but never return money for lessons that don’t go to plan due to the poor system they force you to use. As much as I appreciate the tutors who try their very best, the system and the lessons are not fit for purpose. The system that you are forced to use would often disconnect or freeze, it is clunky, and it doesn’t have the right tools to conduct online lessons. I wish I have never signed up to them- especially avoid long term subscriptions- you will loose your money. The only good thing that came out of it is our tutor that was assigned to conduct the lessons with our daughter.

Huge scam

Stay away, don’t agree a contract with them. They will push for long periods of time they have no cancellation - even if tutors don’t turn up or the platform doesn’t work. It’s a terrible platform, but worst it’s a company exploiting people who want to help with their children’s education.

Poor customer service

I have subscribed to go student - but wish I didn’t. Agreed to two lessons a week and paying direct Debits. We wanted lessons after school (not weekends) Tuesday & Thursday. The lessons were never certain times and often changed and then wanting to rearrange at ridiculous times. Tutors were brilliant but had other commitments so we had to move lessons many times then we were expected to make up these missed lessons. Was so unhappy I called to end the sessions to be told I have to pay for twelve months and I can’t get out of it! Apparently when I made first payment I agreed for a year of subscription. Jeez if I was told I can’t cancel the contract if not happy- would NEVER take it. No customer service and when you get through, they are extremely rude, unhelpful and just demand money!!! Not to mention - no one responded to my multiple emails. Ended up with a child who now wants to have face to face tutorials which I can’t afford cos I have to pay for 12 months for service which doesn’t work for us

Just don’t pay tutoring here.

Never reach to customer care centre on time. It’s almost impossible to cancel my membership. Just don’t make any contract with them. You will have headaches.

Now we are both locked out

Pin not working and reset fails. Hoped update would resolve for daughter but now we are both locked out

Save your self some trouble

Not worth it, doesn’t work and half of the time the platform hangs in the middle of a lesson

Major scam

This is the poorest service I have even encountered… it is all hot and miss, the platform doesn’t work half of the time, customer service is virtually inexistant and when they eventually respond they tend to be rude. After a few months of hit and miss, we paid for the last month and a few days later all our paid for and scheduled lessons disappeared and the platform would not let us log on anymore… will be seeking our direct debit payment for at least 5he last month back!

Love it!

I made an enquiry on the GoStudent website and received a phone call shortly after. I spoke to a really helpful advisor who listened to me, understood what it was that I needed and introduced me to a fantastic tutor!

GoStudent is quick and easy, I can communicate with my tutor via WhatsApp and I can book in my lessons easily via the platform.

I feel like I’ve really improved in my subjects. 10/10 would recommend!
