New update requires paid subscription
So we no longer have access to the Manchester Evening News articles about MU without a paid subscription? The website still has the same free news, but the app I have used for several years now has monthly costs. This is unfortunate.WyomingVol
Great App, Terrible Battery Drain
I love catching up on the latest MU news via M.E.N.; however, this app is using >50% of my iPhone battery while I only check it for a few minutes 2-3 times per day.-DizzyD.

Hi DizzyD, we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. We're aware of this issue and we're working on every update to try and mitigate this issue. It might not be visible to the users but on every update, we tune the app and reduce the battery usage, unfortunately, the main reason for that is not in our code that's why is taking longer than expected to fix this issue for good. Just the quality of content is uneven. There are too many stories based on scouring social media for fan reactions. Also too many Trump ads.Jjordan370

Now comments have been disabled for nearly every article. Can't take criticism??
Still too many articles that repeat whole paragraphs, or more, from other articles and fail to contain the news promised in the headlines.
Update June 2019
New bug.
The article comments are Entirely Different for the same article in my iPad App and my Android phone App.
I don't mean one has more than the other (I.e. Not synced) I mean ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. one set of comments on my iPad DIFFERENT set on my Pixel phone. Bizarre.
Update Dec 2018
New bug. When I open the App it loads the latest news then immediately replaces it with the prior news until I close and
reopen the App. weird.
Also no notifications when my comments are replied to, liked, or disliked.

I like the App and the easy access to all things MU.
Except, it constantly crashes, it does not display correctly in landscape mode on my iPad and it is impossible to send feedback if you do not use the propriety Apple email client!Show lessClivexxx

Lengthy updates
The app takes to long to update new stories, I would get a notification of a new story but when I open the app I don’t see itimdeletingthisnow
