    So doesn’t work
  • Utter crap

    Just don’t bother, a total waste of time and money. Both of my electrum sabers look nice but electronics and this app are a load of rubbish. What happened to the update that never came ?
  • Needs work

    This app needs work. Having issues connecting to app frequently. Shows saber yet won’t connect also doesn’t save profiles. Clinchy and needs updating
  • Seems like a thrown away project

    It feels like we have all been left in the dark with these lightsaber purchases. It is sad knowing we all spent $400+ on buying neo sabers all on the hope that the bugs will be fixed with an upcoming update. The app was never updated and it is basically never even discussed with ES. All theyre trying to do is push more sales onto everyone. Focus on fixing your app and current sabers than trying to pump out a bunch more unfinished, undeveloped sabers. Disappointing.

  • Cool saber; horrible app.

    ...app’s almost worse than useless. Just made the saber’s effects insanely glitchy; and hardly any of the app’s settings even corresponded to the saber’s. Very disappointed.
  • Garbage app that they are not even trying to fix.

    I can’t even begin to explain the amount of bugs in this app. I can barely do anything with my saber at all without the app crashing, or the saber just not listening to me and basically soft resetting itself. Can’t even save profiles so every time i go to use it, I have to set it up which then takes me so much more time because Electrum isn’t even taking the time to fix their app. They don’t care. So much buyers remorse. Should’ve went to saber forge than trust this Canadian company to do it right.

  • Hardly works

    The saber itself is phenomenal. Amazing craftsmanship and wonderful quality, but this app is horrendous. Things like changing the color and font work, but when I try to save a user profile, it repeatedly tells me that I haven’t picked something that I definitely have picked. Not to mention the fact that I can barely even try changing the color of my blade without the app crashing multiple times.

  • No Tech Support Conclusion

    The App will not recognize my fonts that I purchased from Electrum - consequently, I have no effects sounds, only hum, the saber will not turn off on the saber - only by putting it into deep sleep, and I often power it up, only to hear static. Initially level 1 tech was responsive, but all of their suggestions were things I had already tried. I was supposed to be tiered up level 2 tech support and never heard back. Then we came to a resolution of me, to my frustration, having to mail my $500 saber back to them, but yet again, have heard nothing back. Build quality is great but it’s worthless without a working saber.

  • Waiting For The Update

    As much as I love my custom saber, the software and the app have a lot to be desired. You had mentioned an update in 2021, and I hope it comes soon. And I hope there will be a firmware update to the diatium 3 board. Quite often, my sabers sound will sound have a static sound as if the speaker is failing. Other times, the saber will boot and it will play a bunch of loud sounds and I cannot shut it off. I cannot save the localized clash feature at all. If I have an unstable setting in red set for one profile and a flicker setting in red for another profile, the red’s I chose for the unstable setting, will become the same reds for the flicker setting. No matter how many times I have tried to save it differently, it always takes the red colors I chose for unstable. I gave you a raving review on my YouTube Channel, but that was before I learned about all of the glitches on my saber. I really want to love it 100%, but with the glitches, I’m only about 60%.

  • Some things work. Actually, no, they don’t.

    This app is actual garbage. I just got my Scion today and can do pretty much nothing with it. The fact that you need this trash to actually customize the saber is giving me so much buyer’s remorse. It would be great if the app functioned as described, but it doesn’t. And the fact it hasn’t been updated in over 7 months as of this review tells me that Electrum really could care less. Which is a shame because the saber itself is solid. Unless this gets fixed I will not be sending any more business their way.
