Description of To the Moon

A story-driven experience about two doctors traversing backwards through a dying man's memories to artificially fulfill his last wish. ABOUT THIS GAME Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads. Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t. This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is. And Johnny's last wish is, of course... to go to the moon. • A Sequel?

This is my favorite game. I love storyline games, and this doesn’t just hit the spot, it exceeded it! It is a very good game. Just too good. Even if you finish the game, you can listen to their soundtrack, which is a good way to pass time. Or play the game again, even better! All in all, I really want a sequel. If you skip the credits at the end there is a scene where the main characters get another patient. Could it be about them? Even if you charged money, I would play it if were less than 4 dollars. I alway recommend this game. The only thing is, is that, for some people it’s not enough game. I get that, but this game hit everything else spot on you barely care. (Or at least, for me.) Well, that wraps things up. I hope if you didn’t care for it now, maybe your next game will be this one. Trust me, it’s worth one shot. Edit: so change of plans. There is (sort of) a sequel to To the Moon, but from just looking at it the animation os different, not as good as the first one, a bit weird if you ask me, but maybe it’s just my eyes. Yeah, I think it is. It cost 5 or 6 bucks, so I guess if I wanted it I could get it, but only 7 people rated it, so I’d like to wait for more review to see if it’s worth it. Hope so, I need a new game to play, and I enjoyed the first.

  • Uhhh

It’s ok. Characters are kinda lame. Doctors are the enjoyable part of the game(if you’re into that humor).

I was actually searching for a sad, emotional story game. People reviewed this to be so emotional and they cry. I’m actually somewhat sensitive to games and stories. But this did not get me at all. In fact it was kinda weird. Guy has Asperger’s wife who they shared a somewhat weird and unhappy relationship. She has held a grudge since she was 5 against this guy for not remembering their first meet up. So since she can’t communicate properly makes paper bunnies to make him remember…..Turns out his brother died at that age so he lost his memory from drugs because his mother made him take it? Like that’s wack. Yeah people cry from this cry from sunsets every evening 🙄
