  • Nice surprise

The game is colorful and beautiful. I've only just started but already love it. Love that it's single-player because I often get invested in games then my friends quit and I end up not being able to play all the content unless I pug it. This game seems to have good depth with skills and character development. Thanks for this game.

  • Amazing!

I love the idea and concept of the game and I'm so happy the figurines are fully articulate...unlike sky landers! I'm planning on purchasing a Jax the Tyrax starter kit, you've truly outdone yourself, you have combined every thing I loved as a child, trading cards, humanoid dinosaurs, and video games, I hope to see maybe a graphical update atleast for when you see XP, it looks ugly right now. And could we be seeing it come to consoles. Plz answer that question in a response. And you know feel free to send me a free jax the tyrax starter kit!!!PLZ!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • Totally blown Away

Play Fusion, this game is amazing. At first I thought this was some skylanders rip off, but no, this game really isn't and I might say it's just as good as activisions smash hit. Now while it does share its many similarities, it has its own spin on things and I absolutely love it. Now to the core review. Let's face it, the gameplay is amazing and it feels like the previously mentioned Skylanders mixed with a moba like rpg and boy it's great. The graphics are solid pretty polished but I know the graphic style has a little more potential. The story is good and is pretty easy to understand for a younger audience but also feels important like it's more of a mature plot.
Now for the party games. So far I'm not super impressed. They are ok and all but I think we need more variety and a couple more games.
Overall this game is phenomenal in its own right and I think big youtubers will get a kick out of it.
I also think the Bluetooth connectivity with the toys is great so we don't have to deal with wasting energy and time with the portal idea.
As for the toys in general, I think they are worth checking out.
    Great job play fusion.
    This game gets a 9.5/10

  • 👍 Good Game 👍

This is a really cool game! I've never heard of the Lightseekers toy line or game, and I enjoyed it. The only downside I'd say is that the game seems a bit too easy, as if it is almost impossible to die. I would make it a little harder so it seems as if its a real battle. Overall a decent rpg game.
  • Absolute Joy

This game is awesome. Like another reviewer said, it still has its issues (still in beta), but it is a totally solid, fun, creative new mobile game. There is SSOOO much you can do without ever investing in the action figures or the cards. But let me tell you, I got my Jax from Kickstarter already, and it is not only one of the best Kickstarters I've been involved with, it's one of the coolest (if not THE coolest) action figure I've ever seen!! There is SO much to this game and I can't wait to see where they take it.

  • Great All Around

I've been beta testing since February, and let me tell you, this game is amazing. It has depth, and complex lore, but is still simple enough for short, mobile gaming sessions. It has a few issues, but for still being in beta, I'm absolutely amazed by its qualities.
  • It's everything I needed

My only wish is for it to be compatible with the iOS controllers. Would be an easy 5 stars if we had that! (And maybe a Pokémon like battle system for the pets)

I wanted to not get into this game. But I read a review that mentioned the battle pets, and it was all over. It's like they took all my favorite parts of World of Warcraft (quests, pets, crafting, leveling, gear, loot drops) and removed the bad, boring parts. And then they added in awesome toys.

Absolutely love everything about this game. Just pre-ordered all the toys. Keep it up, guys!

  • The game is good

The game has great artwork for its scenery and characters.
It feels like I bought a new game from the store and I'm exploring and leveling up.
I'm also collecting items for crafting.
And gold for buying new gear.
Also light stones for enchancing gear and weapons.
The cards act like reusable items with coodown timers.
They can also unlock OP combos
For devastating enemies or to be used as defense buff for survival.
There also healing and speed combo moves.
The card game is good in its own right it has a lot of potential to knock Pokemon out of its slot of being number 3 out of the most popular/profitable collectible trading card games.
Just Behind YuGiOh and Magic the gathering.
Thogh those 2 are almost neck and neck with each other for the 1st place in that ranking most of the time

  • Good game overall

I have some constructive feedback that could make the game feel more immersive:

    1. The game is missing voices or cries like Pokémon each time a character speaks. There is no voice or sound effect when Jax says something, and it makes the dialog almost feel empty.

    2. More sound effects in general - some things such as summoning a pet should have a more vibrant animation along with a sound effect. I simply felt the game is lacking in the SFX department, however the sound effects that are there are definitely high quality.

    3. When using the Virtual D Pad to move, you are not able to attack or activate abilities unless you stop moving. This makes gameplay feel somewhat sluggish and unnatural for the more hardcore control scheme.

    4. Some way to zoom in closer, maybe pinch to zoom. The characters look very small on iPhone 7.

    5. When you walk up to an action item, such as a gear or talking to someone, the large attack button should change to match the icon for that action, and also activate it

Overall, the game has been fun. I do still plan on purchasing the cards and pre-ordering the Jax figure, but would love to see some updates to the game client.

    Cheers ✌🏼

  • A Next Step in Toys to Life!

As someone who is a big fan of Skylanders and amiibo, Lightseekers does something special with the genre that no other does... makes the "toys" TOYS! It's so great to have this impressive piece of technology actually feel like they could work as standalone action figures, even without the app

The app itself is fun, too. I've spent countless hours in the beta and today exploring the land, battling baddies and finishing quests. It's a good time waster on long car rides, and most importantly, it's a solid RPG with SEVERAL deep mechanics that is perfect for the average gamer. Plus, NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!!!

That's not even counting the card game, which is brilliantly implemented in gameplay too. All these parts (and the whole experience) make Lightseekers extremely worth picking up and playing. Maybe even buying a few cards to scan in-game
