Can't recommend this app
Pros:
- TNC works both using speakers and a cable I purchased for my HT
- easy to setup
Con:
- cannot remove "sent from APRS Pro" text from beacon
- newest version does not restore my purchased option which means I can no longer transmit
- Dev contact options limited to Facebook And twitter
- I tweeted the dev 3 days ago asking to have my purchase restored and have not gotten a response.
I would tell you to look at other APRS apps.Show lesslicensed ham
Doesn't work.
Packets are decoded on device but not forwarded on to aprs.is in iGate mode. Same issue as previous reviewer. Support is non-existent, dev unresponsive. $20 down the tubes...Orci
Don't Waste Your Money

I recently switched to an iPhone and one of the apps I needed was an APRS all in one app. So far it works pretty good for me.gee-see

This app in one day, the day I paid for it, requested many many times a 'who is' of my call sign via APRS message but hid it in the app. Only found when going via web, did I see the flood of messages, quests and replies. neat idea but needs major update
The app definitly needs to be optimized to run on older iphones better. This app crashes on my older iphones all the time. Also the Internet Gate feature doesnt seem to work when hooked up to any radio. It recieves and decodes incoming packets but then they never are forwarded to the internet and they never show up on APRS.fi.Show lessGraybarGrandpa
Disappointed
It's a great app if all you want to do is listen and use rx/tx over the internet. The second I turn off the data though and plug in the radio my transmissions seem to disappear. I even bought the cable that they recommend and can hear my transmission on another radio after paying $10 for being able to transmit. One star unless anyone can fix this.Show lessJ-maxx

The new Deluxe version works fine, maybe even better than the old one. And it will restore your earlier purchases, although I found that to complete the restore process the older version must be deleted from the iDevice.Rosea1
