In Eight-Minute Empire, 2-5 players take turns selecting a card from the six displayed. This card gives the player a resource, and also has an action which the player takes immediately. Actions help players take over the map, but the resources are worth points at the end of the game, so players have to balance the two aspects. • Silly game

I wrote a review awhile back, and it got deleted. So I will try again.

The idea behind this game is good, very good. There is area control, and there is card play. It is all ruined by the ability to move an army through enemy territory as if the enemy wasn’t even there.

    That’s unrealistic, and silly.

  • Pretty Much Perfect

Could Acram just take over all digital board game design? The UI is insanely polished.

I’ve played the game about a dozen times in 24 hours and I’m ready to take on higher AI difficulty.

Edit: one thing I can’t stand about online multiplayer is that you can’t add AI players to a multiplayer game. Seems like this could be done and would make it easier for two people to play online multiplayer but not have to resort to a two player game.

  • I bought the game but...

Bought the game but there's no sign of my purchase.
Very weird and I'm not able to download it on any other device unless I pay again.
Perhaps it's an Apple issue but I was hoping this would resolve itself but clearly hasn't.
Game itself is ok but can feel very biased against the human player.
