Reviews of Hiking Guide

Looks better then it is

I was looking for an app which would give me extended information about hiking in Joshua Tree National Park.
Unfortunately this app looks better then it is. Here is why:

This app is more focussed is on how to get to the hike. Just basic information regarding the trail itself. What is missing is what the real highlights are for this trail and or some additional pictures. Also you cannot use this app for navigation either which is disappointing.

I tried to select the trails I wanted to hike as my favourite. Unfortunately there is a bug in the app that makes all hikes as your favourite as default so that feature is useless.

Zooming in and out of the built on map were the hikes are visible doesn’t work. The map is just useless. Looks nice when you first look at it but you have to get a another map for navigation, again very disappointing.

The app it self looks nice but I found myself spending all my time outside the app to plan my hiking trips to Joshua Tree so therefore I regret buying this app as it did not met my expectations at all.
