I made the mistake of letting them know I was interested in an expensive item. after getting an answer I went back to the website to purchase it and found that the price had suddenly been increased. Coincidence?

This is awful!!
Trying to position my upcoming TV purchase and trying to place it on my wall via this app is like pulling teeth, you have to scan left to right, right to left you then get asked to ensure there is enough light (in a fully lit front room) you then have to scan from various angles…after about an hour of messing about with this rubbish I totally give up and will use a cardboard sheet to see how my tv will look, absolute waste of my phone battery!!

How very unfortunate! That sounds odd, it should definitely work if the room is well lit and the wall is clear. A reinstall might do wonders, but your analog solution definitely works too!
