I went to WBNG app for the first time today. I was looking for information on the power outage.
NOTHING was on the site about the power outage.
So much for using my phone when there’s a power failure.
Disappointing.

If you want weekend news you’ve come to the wrong place.
Funny that their TV ads tout about how up to the minute they are. Very disappointing, not only WBNG but all the local stations are the same. Monday thru Friday news.

No news being posted
Despite telling us to follow them on the app for the latest news, they do not update the stories on this app. It’s a pathetic waste of time unless you want to relook at news from a couple days ago. Just don’t expect any follow-up info.
Updating news on weekends.
Stale news on App. For example Monday morning the top story is a news story ftom Saturday.
wont work
This app was great since I work in a school and have closings with bad weather, but I don’t know what happened. It would install but then not load, it looks like its working but it stays on the 12 news screen
Poor news
Don’t try so hard to keep up with the big channels, concentrate and upgrade all local news, get out and find out what’s going on in the southern tier!!!!
Unhappy with an app that I can no longer use
This app was updated a couple months ago. I have been unable to open it since that time. I've even removed it from my device and downloaded it again with no success. I've had to switch to another local news app to get local information. If the technical issues were corrected, I would rate this app higher.

Real news??
Real news is not being reported. Very disappointed in WBNG. Weather is not accurate and the news app does not appear to be updated on the weekend. 👎👎

Breaking news is days ago.
Current events?
I look at this news app daily only to find “news” that has not been updated. For example this past weekend. The Friday news was the same until Monday. Nothing updated about Spiedi Fest/Balloon launching. No pictures? Since I don’t have FB, you offer this app for updated news, you fell short. This is the most recent example. School closings notices are always kept current… positive thing.
