  • Review after months of use.

    I have changed my review.

I had high hopes that this list app would improve as time went on. Well, I am very disappointed.

There has not been an update or improvement in 4 years. The app is a horrible in my opinion, and I’m using the paid version. Today’s failure to synch was the last straw. It has done this before, but I am tired of this poorly made app and the total lack of support or improvement.

I will be deleting this app in a couple minutes.

This app probably should be banned from the Apple App Store, it is so bad.

  • No categories for me

I am so disappointed in your updated app! I loved the old one. I could create my own categories and arrange them as needed. You cannot add to or rearrange the categories now. There is no place for basic foodstuffs such as flour, sugar, or vegetable oil. And this app is so much HARDER to use. I’m shopping for another grocery list app!

  • Very disappointed!

My previous “ShoppingList” (which I love and looks actually the “Preview“ of this one) was so much easier to use. I tried using it this morning and finally had to quit using it. The categories are totally independent of each other as with my old version (which I can’t use on my new iPhone) all the categories were there so I didn’t have to close one category and then open another. There are other issues but this is the main one. ☹️

  • Great app

I used List Ease until it was no longer supported. Then I used Grocery Gadget but it got glitchy. I found this app several weeks ago and I really like it. It is easy to build your own library of items including prices. I love that you can create your own categories. It is very pleasing to look at, no glare. And you can choose to only see items that are not crossed off. The only thing I would like to see is more than one line of text for the item name. For items with long names, not all the text is visible from the list. Otherwise this is an outstanding app. I don’t need or want an app that includes recipes, auto-adds from recipes, meal-planning etc. I need to be able to check item availability in my local store apps to be sure it’s in stock and to see which version of the item is lowest-priced before adding to the list. This list gives me complete control over my list and I appreciate that.

  • Well designed - reusable

Hands down the best shopping list app for dyslexics and people like me. Coloured sections keeps everything from floating all over the place.

I had this app on my old phone & it was a better app. Phone death upgrade and I came back to find that they changed the name and profit model: I had to buy the app again. Annoying but not a deal breaker. At $3 it’s a modest expense and the tension it saves me when shopping is worth every cent (psychologists cost a lot more)!

Best thing is the way it saves and catalogs your items. Making them available and reusable.

Needs improvements to master list controls. I’d like to export my top level to be mirrored on my partners phone (not just the items list). Sort order for categories and ability to add delete to default list rather than just edit it would be great.

Would be great if it could live update prices from the monopoly supermarkets but that’s not essential just very handy.

I tried most of the other shopping list apps and they did my head in. This was a quick learning curve and relatively pain free.

I hate shopping! This makes my life better…

  • Good app but frustrating trash bin

The first choice is erase the whole list!!!
When I’m tired I often press this choice. Arghh.. please change this.

Et une version française serait bienvenue.
  • Pas utile

C’est la pire liste d’épicerie qui existe à éviter.
  • Where is the Group?

The old app had a group that you would log into with a password. Therefore, my wife and I could share the same list; where we both add items and then whoever goes to the store buys them. I don’t see that capability here, so it doesn’t look to be usable.
  • Transfer data?

I used the old app, how do I transfer data to the new app? Very frustrating to have a “new” app without the old one being available. I paid for the old app and now feel like I’ve been duped to a new app without the features I had before. Can anyone help?
  • A good app as 1.1 but need improvements

    Good app as version 1.1
Need improvements for futur to be more convenient :
Need to erase optional categories when needed
Need to erase item into database when needed
Icloud : nice to be able to use it on another equipment on same icloud user : example other phone or tablet. Actually not possible because lists, categories, items get duplicated.
