Trust Some Information, But Not All
This app provides an excellent piece of data. Which is evapotranspiration (ET), which many often forget to calculate watering based on this. The ET data provided for the address input in the app seems correct for the area. However, I’m not sure where the rain data is coming from? The rain data provided never matches the rain gauge I have outside. Scott’s “My Lawn” app is nearly precisely the same as the rain gauge who uses data from The Weather Channel. Example: I received 0.50’’ of rain, yet Water My Lawn states I received 0.02” of rain. It also states I received rain on days where there was no rain anywhere within a reasonable vicinity. Therefore, I have to use both apps to decide the daily watering schedule. I think this app has a lot of potential but wish it would use better rain data.App is SO close
Would be useful if the “water log” actually recorded entries. You enter any time you water your yard & it deletes the entry (there is not a “save” button but it appears to save the entry at first only to delete it)
Fix that & it would be a useful app
