Not worth the purchase

I had written a review explaining my rating. I was then berated in the developer’s response to my review & now, it seems, that my review was removed. So I’m reposting my review.

I purchased this, thinking it would have more than another app I was using. It only unlocked and extra feature and a few more phrases & words. Definitely not worth the price.

Pros:
Learn some of the language basics & phrases

Cons:
- It’s not useful in daily language
- Certain phrases, while proper in form, are not actually used in conversations. It is equivalent to “1st grade” understanding.
- UTalk Go has more available in their app and it’s unlockable w/out pay.

Overall:
Don’t be fooled by this. I hope the developers fix their issues. Polo lou Tama.

Good app, but beginner level

Great app for beginner level! I purchased as I thought it would have translations for other parts of the body not just the basics that you could get from a free app (stomach, lungs, back, veins, etc)

Would be wonderful to have a bit more content and also different levels. (Beginner, intermediate, advanced)

Otherwise I actually preferred the male voice over the female (unlike comment above) there were some words that weren’t clear, but overall it was easy-listening, fluent and very soothing.

I gave this a 4 stars because I expected much more having to pay for this app. But also 4 stars because I appreciate the beautiful visuals provided for anyone who is trying to better their gagana Samoa.

Utalk samoa

Excellent app👍👍👍. Can I have more Greeting phrases and the connecting of words. Example: The, However, But etc... will be most appreciated. Oh an another thing the guy pronouncing the words is not at all clear on some of his pronunciations. The women Excellent!
